allergies (self obs f)

Ok well neighbors are cutting the grass which means I'm sneezing my head off. Why is it that my biggest sneezes seem to be the ones that come on too fast for me to grab a tissue to sneeze into?

The first sneeze was freaking huge. The tickle came on so suddenly and I had no time to grab a tissue from the box next to me or to even turn my head away from the computer. I just sneezed into my fist forcefully bending at th waist, "Hehhhhhhhhhhshhhhoooooooooo".

A few minutes later I started have some fits. The rest of sneezes were more normal for me, giving me just enough warning to be able to get a tissue to sneeze into. There was about a minute or two between each fit in which I would sniffle, rub my nose or blow it.

"Hetshhhoooo Hetshhooooo Ehhhshhoooo"

"Ehhhhhshhooooo Etshhooooooo Hehhhshhooooo"

"Hehhhshhhooooo Hehhshhooooo Hehhshhhooooo Hehhshhoooooo"

By now the sneezes were starting to get wetter.

"Ehhhhshhoooooo Ehhhshhooooooo Hetshhhooooooo Hehhhshhooooo"

"Ehhshhhooooooo Hehhhhshhoooooo Ehhhshhhhoooooo"

"Hehhhhhshhoooo Hetshhhoooooooo Hetshhhooooooo....... Hehhshhhoooooo Hehhhhshhhooooo Hetshhhooooo"

After that last longer fit things started to slow down, though I'm still at it and have sneezed a few times while writing this.

Thanks, not sure it was 78, but could be close.

Well having allergies most of the year tends to make a person sneeze a lot. Though it's worst when there is mowing going on near by as you can see.

Out of curiosity, do your neighbors even know what their grass-cutting does to you? If I had a neighbor who had such an allergic reaction, I'd want to know so I could try to arrange it so I would cut the grass when she was away or at least not doing anything vitally important. (But then, I'll take any excuse to get out of grass-cutting.) Alternately, I might take advantage of this information to get some great obs . . .

Um seeing as how I rarely talk to any of my neighbors, I'm sure they have no idea. I'm home more often than I'm not because I take half of my college courses online, so it would be pretty unreasonable to expect them to do it when I'm not home. Most of the time when I'm out of the house for classes is when people are at work anyway. At least my sister is nice, she mows the lawn at my house and since she had off from school today she did it while I was at my chemistry class.
