Sapphire
Well, I doubt that I really will overcome my mental block because it has such a firm foundation. But I have been deciding to make a few gestures toward seeing what can happen. I have a friend that we'll name N. in the tradition of the forum of using first initials to designate people from time to time. N. is a long winded friend when it comes to talking. I've known her since 1999. We live in separate states, and she calls several times a week. She'll talk for 15 or more minutes, and I barely have to say a word. She's about a decade older than me. From time to time, she'll sneeze over the phone, and usually she'll say, "Whoa, I've been sneezing all day" or some kind of comment like that. Her sneezes don't do it for me , but many other of my friends' sneezes do push the right buttons. Not sure why hers don't. But anyway, earlier this week, I thought that if I am at home when she calls that I would see if I could try sneezing while on the phone with someone. I thought that since she talked for a while, and she often was in her own world while talking to me (somewhat oblivious even to my verbal responses at times), that she would be a real low risk person for sneezing attempts. So when I saw her # on my caller ID, I got my inducing implement ready and picked up the phone. As predicted, she launched into a long story about her day, which had its interesting points, but it also gave me some time to induce, but the only thing is that it is really difficult to do while on the phone with someone I found. I had a pre sneeze face going on for a long time while I was on the phone, but nothing was happening. I kept inhaling a bit. Finally, after about 10 minutes of trying to induce, I knew that the sneeze was coming, and I didn't have a chance to turn my head or anything, so I sneezed right into the receiver. Huh-uh-CHOOIt was kind of a soft sneeze, and I excused myself. And guess what? I had no indication that she even heard. She kept right on talking. Normally, I would think that that was a person's being polite and overlooking the bodily functions, but I do think that with her, it could be the whole being in her own world type of situation. So, I instantly decided to mess around some more. So I faked a second sneeze about 20 seconds later. Normally, I'm afraid to fake because I think that it'll sound um, fake, but this time I just tried to imitate how the last sneeze sounded. So two sneezes and no responses. So I was right about the low risk situation because for some reason the whole potential for being blessed increases my fear of sneezing. Link to comment
army-girl
*chuckle* heh, I'm sort of happy for you, and at the same time wondering how you can stand talking to someone who actually does all the talking all the time (probably because I'm like that myself more often than I'd like to think ) excellent choice of test subject though! (though I would've stopped to bless you no matter if I'm busy yapping or not). It's a good scenario though, gotta confess, done it too more than once just to tackle the whole mental block thing (in the merry days before I realized this is my fetish), I find it a lot easier to sneeze over the phone than in person, though what really opened the flood gates with me was *duh* realizing it's a feitsh (which I'd highly recommend, but I think you nailed that bit already ).Anyway, good for you missy! oh oh and "Normally, I'm afraid to fake because I think that it'll sound um, fake" - so simple a sentence, but it made me literally laugh Next phase would be... trying it with someone a bit less self involved? *nudge nudge* you go girl! count tiszula
Extremely well done to you! An induced sneeze and a fake. Wet receiver time , I hope, They soubd very nice, anyway,. I've never dared do naything like that. But I strongly suspect thay even the less self-absorbed of the non fetish community usually don't even register that someone has sneezed at all; unleess perhaps it's loud or frequent enough to disturb their thought processes. Perhaps i should try it.There is one of the despised inducing videos on myspace [the link is on the myspace thread on media, but it can be got to by its simple title, 'sneeze video', ] where a girl appears to be inducing while on the phone; tickling continuously until she has sneezed [half stifled] four times. She seems to get no reaction at all. Again, why is she doing this? Is it all an act? Is she a fetishist? Is she doing iton request from one of these lurking sharks? Link to comment
Sapphire
I've been meaning to write to say thanks for replying, count. I really appreciate it. Sneesee
I say KUDOS to you Sapphire, for trying to overcome your mental block in that fashion! Number one, I have never been able to sneeze on the phone, naturally or even inducing. And number two, I would never be able to fake! But, I do have to say, that if it went unnoticed, I bet I would be closer to getting over my mental block. That happened to me once at work, when I had to sneeze (normally I would have stifled), but there was only one other person around. She was someone I got to know, I guess I can't really call her a friend. Anyway, I sneezed, kind of loud, and did the whole bending at the waist thing, right in front of her, and she never said a word. So, that helped me at the time, and I think I did it once more at work after that. But, again, I am giving you props for faking the one, very cool! BRAVO! I loved this! Thanks for sharing with us!
