Guest mozartlaugh
This originally happened with me and a friend of mine after we watched Alice in Wonderland (I had this in the media section, but it seems to go here)My friend wanted to see if he could hold a build up that long. Personally, I can't bring my voice into a sneeze (just air breaths) and there's really never build up...just "ka-choo!" But my friend tried when he smelled some pepper. His face and build up were totally fake...nondescript, "Ahh...ahh...ahh...ha-ha...ahh..." and I rolled my eyes...then all of sudden look that was a bit confused. The real sneeze was coming on... "I have-have to...sne..sne..I-ha...AhhCOO!" Before I could say anything...he, "ahh...ahh...HACHOO!" I fought he was done, he shut his eyes and I knew another was coming. "Try really holding it..." I told him."I-I-I can't...I-ahh-HACHOO"WAY MORE entertaining than Alice in Wonderland. I laughed at his dry, but powerful sneezes. He looked sweet, but seemed so embarrassed, and I began to feel a little sorry for him. But this time he really tried to hold it in, and he shivered while he did, "ha...ha...ha-HA-CHOO!""Bless you!" Call me wierd, but I actually tried to take some of the pepper myself, so maybe he would laugh to. However I could not fake build up, "Sorry...don't feel nothing." Then all of sudden, a great tickle and without a gasp, "kachoo!" Even if I tried, I couldn't build up...they came so suddenly. I did that about two more times, but he didn't seem satasfied that mine were nothing compared to his. I gave him a quick hug when our sneezes were gone, "What should we-we-we..." and he suddenly pulled away (was he really upset...?) He face was weakish, and he made queit gasps "heh...heh..." and out came one more powerful one (his build was much longer than actually sneeze, but I loved how his head went done in front of me, "ha-ha...ahh-ahChOO!"It's a funny memory (though I think they should put a warning label on the Alice in Wonderland movie!) Sneesee
I got such a kick out of reading that story! It makes me wish something like that would happen to me and some of my best guy friends! If only we had some alone time, so I could ask them to try to hold them back like that. That would just drive me crazy! That sounds like such a fun time. Thanks for sharing it with us. atchoum
Interesting experimenting with build ups. Pretty hard to do, sneezes can be scared away so easily. Link to comment
Lalena
Oh my gosh, what an amazing obs! That is awesome that your friend was able and willing to sniff pepper, hold off the sneeze, have a fantastic build up followed by what sounds like an even better sneeze! You're a lucky ducky!
