First time for posting

This is my first posted observation, so it might be a little too long.

Anywho, the first one happened to me yesterday at work. While I was checking a customer out, I got this really bad tickle in my nose. I tried to ignore it, but it persisted for quite some time. Eventually I gave in and sneezed twice (I'm not very good at spelling out the sneezes, but they are rather loud and can sometimes be very wet). The customer who I was checking out was an older lady who insisted on saying "God Bless You!" after every sneeze. I don't really mind being blessed (I kind of like it actually) but I'm not too fond of the "God" part. I finished her order shortly after, but then I suddenly sneezed again. The lady, who looked rather annoyed by this, turned to me and said in a rather angry voice: "God-dammit I've already wasted two blessings on you and I sure won't waste another one on you!" Before I could apologize she walked off, leaving me very confused by this whole ordeal.

The second sneeze that I witnessed was actually rather disgusting and I don't think I can ever forget it. If you have a weak stomach, stop reading now (you've been warned!) It came from this rather grungy looking guy with long hair and really dirty looking clothes. This other lady who I work with was checking him out (We'll call her 'R' for the sake of privacy). This nasty looking fellow actually had the nerve to not only cough uncovered right in fron of R, but to also sneeze directly into her face!! It was rather wet and you could actually see moisture on her face from the sneeze Needless to say, she was rather mad and told the guy to get out. The guy actually started yelling at her and said she had no right to be so rude to him and then stormed off.

What's even worse is that R must have gotten sick from this nast basturd and had to call in from work today. Without a doubt that was the most horrible thing I've ever seen in my life.

Loved YOUR sneezes, but am scratching my head at the lady's reaction. (Like, wtf?) The other obs, well, let's just say that I'm glad I'm not R. Gross to the max!

Interesting obs, both of them.

What you say about the customer getting annoyed after the third sneeze in fact recalls similar things that have happened to me. No one has actually insulted me, but I have noticed in trains, etc, you can get away with sneezing twice, but people start to glare at you after the third sneeze.
