Aisha
I heard my store manager sneeze for the first time this week, and I have been busting to tell you guys this story ever since! His sneezes were quite phenomenal.Firstly, a description: His name is “E”, he is 27, and his most striking feature is definitely his physique. His hobbies are surfing and skating, and he is absolutely toned to the max. He has very darkly tanned skin (mostly from the sun while surfing, but I think some of it is also his natural complexion). He is an attractive guy in general, with naturally black hair, average height. We have always had a good friendship and he is very easy going, so working with him is fun. His personality is a beautiful mix of funniness, playfulness, and a responsible side.Ok, enough of me talking up my boss! I was making a milkshake, so I was at the back of the store (where E was also standing) and I had just quarter-filled the empty blender with milk. I had just walked past him, and turned to the side to put syrup in the blender. He was facing the back of the store, away from the counter, when I hear this massive “AAAAHH-HHATSHCHOOOO!” I immediately snapped my head to the left in time to see that it was an uncovered sneeze, aimed directly at the ground, which seemed to catch him so suddenly that even he was surprised. The second after he finished sneezing, he yelled out “OH man!” as if to express his amazement at the hugeness and force of the sneeze. He turned to look at me as if to say “was that the biggest sneeze ever or WHAT?” and I just returned the look with a smirk, as if to tease him about the ridiculousness of his explosion.About an hour later almost exactly the same thing happened! This time I was in mid-exchange with a customer, as she had just made an order and I was taking her money. From the back of the store I hear him (literally) yell out “AAAAAHHHHAATSHHCHOOOO!” and turn in time to see him ducking down next to the fridge, again not being able to cover the sneeze in time and misting the floor instead. As he looked up, he said “Whoa...” loudly (half to himself, half to me) but then noticed both me and the customer staring at him! He gave the customer a huge grin and joked “don’t worry, I won’t make your drink!”She could only manage a wary smile, but I was completely amused! (Among other things! ) Link to comment

Sneesee
Whoa, that was one of the coolest obs ever! I mean, he sneezed loudly and uncovered, and then made comments about how big his sneezes were? Absolutely one of the best observations from a manager, I think! I hope he does it again real soon! I really liked how he joked with the customer after the second one. I just have one question, are you guys looking for anyone part-time? I think I need a new job. Link to comment
Aisha
Wow fabulous obs! Sounds like a nice boss to have around Thank you, he is! But I have worked with the guy every week since I started the job 5 months ago, and this is the only sneezing I have ever heard from him! Hehe, oh well, if it's another 5 months, I think it will still be worth the wait. I think I need a new job.I'll send you the application form! And, if I was that customer, I would have liked his joke too.... in fact, I think I would have liked to respond with "nooo! Please DO make my drink!" Link to comment
