The Sneezster
I've been overdoing work and pushing myself way too much over the past few weeks. Sleeping no more than three hours a day, missing meals and pretty much living on coffee and cigarettes. This past week the weather changed from unseasonably balmy to windy and very chilly. You see it coming, right? This morning, my throat is sore and scratchy, and my nose is intermittently drippy and sniffly. I'm most likely coming down with a cold. No sneezing or other cold symptoms yet, but, could be on it's way.I'll keep you all posted on any developments in this thread. If this were a poll, I'd ask you guys if you'd rather I: a) take a big dose of vitamin C, zinc, and echinacea, and go right to bed or, go take a walk in the rain.Hey. Good thing this isn't a poll. Link to comment

Good thing this isn't a poll. Well if we're being serious here and trying to keep you healthy, I would say take the echinacea, lots of orange juice and get lots of sleep. If we're tyring to make this thing develope into a nice juicy sneezy cold, go take that walk in the rain and them go into an air conditioned house. Link to comment
Sneesee
I say, take a nice long walk in the rain, baby! But then, I would cuz I love colds! Sorry, that was mean. Drink lots of liquids and get plenty of rest! And then tell us all about how this thing develops! Thanks! Link to comment
The Sneezster
I slept for a few hours, and woke up with my throat a little more sore than it was earlier. Walking around the house I got this delicious pre-sneezy tickle that played with my nose for a while and then fizzled out. The tickle returned to tease my nose twice more, but didn't manage to elicit any sneezing.I just had a nice hot bowl of soup, which felt sooo nice on my throat, but had made my nose start running again. It starts to get drippy and sniffly, and I blow it, and then every thing is fine. A half hour or an hour later, it begins to run again, I blow and it stops. So no sneezing yet, but more teasing. The Sneezster
Almost sneezed. Felt it coming, building, announced it, and...fizzle. This is the shyest my sneezer has ever been!Still with the scratchy throat and intermittant drippiness. And that teasing tickle in my nose! Link to comment

The Sneezster
Standing in the kitchen, chopping mushrooms, and the tickle returned. But it's been teasing me for a couple of days now, and never resulting in a sneeze. That's why I was pleasantly surprised when it grew and grew and I made a nice, satisfying "heegshee!", which I deftly caught in the crook of my elbow. I was still congratulating myself a minute later when the second 'heegshee!" joined the first in the same crook.I blew my nose in a tissue, and since then, no sore throat, so runny nose, no tickle. It was a two-sneeze cold! Sneesee
Bless You, Bless You! Perhaps it wasn't really a cold? Maybe you were just plagued with some sort of irritant that made you miserable until you finally sneezed? Link to comment
The Sneezster
Could be. Mysterious are the ways of the nose. Link to comment
