juliette
One evening a while ago, R. came round to see me when he was coming down with a cold. I greeted him at the door and went to kiss him but he sort of held me away and said, "I don't want you to catch my cold!" I gave him a very upset look and told him that if he didn't kiss me then I would be really sad, then my immune system would be low and I would be bound to catch it so he had better kiss me! He gave in then and gave me a big long kiss! We sat in the kitchen first for a chat and he tantalised me by saying "I think I'm going to sneeze," and looking all tickly and sneezy but then it went away, to my dismay. But soon after we went to sit on the couch and he sat back and I sat on his lap facing him and kissing him occasionally, and again he said, "I'm going to sneeze!" I never know what to say when he says that (quite often I'm speechless with anticipation anyway!) but for some reason this time I said, "Why?" Stupid question but I just wanted to hear him keep talking about it!The sneezes came before he could answer me though. He sneezed to his right, into a loose fist. "HA-TISHHHOOO!" and again... "ASHOOO!" and then delighted me with a third sneeze! I think this third one took him a little by surprise, as he normally sneezes twice, so he sneezed to his right again but this time uncovered! "HUH-TISHOO!" "Bless you!" I said."Because I've got a cold!" replied R., sounding a little injured ... I melted inside, went "Awww honey..." and leaned forward to give him a big cuddle. That wasn't the end of the sneezes for the day though! We went out for a meal and there was a little candle on the table. It was a small and intimate room in the restaurant, and a small table, not one of those where you feel your companion is miles away, so we held hands a lot and felt very close. At the end he said something that made me laugh and I accidentally blew the candle out by laughing on it. A little whiff of strong-smelling smoke drifted up and made him sneeze. I was amazed what a quick reaction it was, almost immediate - I guess he must have already been feeling sneezy because of the cold and that just tipped him over the edge. He sneezed away from the table into his left fist, a quick but intense double. "AH-CHOO! AHHTISHHOOO!!""Bless you darling," I said."Excuse me," said R. and that was all the sneezing for the night!juliette Link to comment
atchoum
Wonderful obs - but then all the "R" obs are wonderful.I don't think I have ever met anyone who announces his sneezes as "R" does. Most people I know, it's very seldom.I was in a copy shop once and I had just given some pages to be copied, when the man (who I knew slightly - we had swum at the same swimming pool) said "I 'm going to sneeze" (je vais éternuer)... waited what seemed like a minute, and gave one very complete sneeze. But that was to explain why he didn't take care of the photocopying straight away. Link to comment

Most people I know, it's very seldom.I have a feeling I'm the main person he does it with, usually because when we're together I stay very close to him so he feels the need to warn me, although I would have thought by now he would realise that I don't move away when he says it! Sneesee
Mmmmm, I love how he announces them like that! If guys did that to me on a regular basis, I'd be a big puddle of goo! R's sneezes are just so yummy, how can you sand it? Link to comment
