Monthly Cold Time

Gah... it's official. I have my monthly cold. I've been sneezing all morning, my nose is running, and my eyes are sore. Now, normally I'd be ecstatic, but I have a fever and my throat's been bothering me, too XD

But, nonetheless, here are my obs; my first ones, mind you, so please be gentle. .///.;

This morning was nothing. I woke up, sniffled, and it dawned on me that I was a bit congested, and my throat was scratchy. I sniffled again, twitched, leaned back, and let out a messy, "EEESHOO!"

I felt miserable until the sneezes really started acting up. x3 I was having so many fits all at once, and normally my colds are dry-mouth and sore, but this is one of the sneeziest colds I ever got!

The best fit, though, would have to be while I was talking to my girlfriend on the phone. My nose itched really bad, and I had a fit of about 10 to 12 loud and wet "EXXSHOO!"s. She blessed me and offered to come over, but I declined, saying I didn't want her to catch it. At first she protested, and I was going to give in, but then I remembered she had work.

However, she will be coming over tomorrow for my birthday... and her immune system is ten times worse than mine. ^_~ Perhaps next time I post, it'll be her with the sneezy cold, hmm?

Nice observation -- I would love to hear that kind of sneezing fit on the phone.

So do you really catch a cold once a month? I'd go insane if I had colds that frequently.

God bless you dear. I'm glad that you're enjoying your sneezy cold. I hope that the added symtoms (i.e. sore throat & fever) aren't causing you too much distress. It's a shame that you're feeling crappy for your birthday. But I hope you have a nice one nonetheless.

Aw, yay~! I'm glad you get the sneesy part instead of just the uncomfortable parts. I hope the sore throat goes away -- I HATE sore throats! Rawrs.

@Dawnie: Actually, this birthday was a rather good one. All the soreness and coughing went away, just a really runny nose and sneezing. The only uncomfortable thing is that I know that my girlfriend will be sick soon.

bless you sweet pea!! these are GLORIOUS obs, though like everyone i truly am so sorry you were sick on your birthday. (happy birthday by the way! i just had one too!) fevers are never fun.

anyway, you did a great job for your first time and i would love to hear more. also, i'm straight for all intensive purposes lol but reading about your girlfriend reminded me of my few obs about my (only) ex-girlfriend months ago. so if you ever have any sweet gf obs i would love to hear about those too. hehe

Fast update; I'm still really sick. XDDD And I believe now my girlfriend is, too. She's been sniffling a lot lately. No sneezes yet, but it is.... unavoidable!

Anyway, some quick obs of my day today;

I was feeling really congested this morning; and even after blowing my nose about a million times ((very messily, mind you)), I was still stuffed. So, I went to go make myself some tea.

I went to go sit down on the couch and after a little while, my nose started itching. Now, my girlfriend was still upstairs, trying to get some sleep, ((^///^; )) and I didn't want to wake her, so I went into the kitchen.

But as it turns out, the vapors from the tea on the stove was making me less congested. I didn't want to wake her, but I kinda wanted to just sneeze and get it over with, so I stifled about seven times into my shoulder, "HMPPH! EXXSH! KTTSH! SHTT! NGHNK!" That last one made me see spots, let me tell you.

... But she heard me anyway, and made me go back to bed. Gawd, I feel like such a little kid sometimes. -//-' But yes... there you have it; my stupid short-too-lazy-to-make-a-new-thread-for-obs.
