Enkidom
We're having some of our offices renovated at the moment and there are some mornings one shouldn't just brightly say "Damnit I told them they'd need two delivery people because there are three flights of stairs and we have a listed building so we can't have a lift put in, ah well, nevermind, I don't mind helping out!" Perhaps I was just in a generous mood because of the cricket, I don't know, but anyway, I broke this golden rule. Helping out did however demonstrate to me that I need to have a word with our cleaners about actually putting the duster around empty rooms every now and again! Well with much straining and swearing (I do swear every so often, it is true), and a fair amount of dust being stirred up, all the spanky new furniture made itself safely into its new home. Unfortunately a lot of the dust had also made its way safely into its new home inside my nose. Funnily enough, not more than a few days ago I was saying to Sneesee that dust really doesn't affect me much, but at the moment my nose is really tingly and I have been sneezed about 3 singles and 2 doubles over the course of the last 40 minutes, and really quite violent Hepp-TTTISSSHHHs too, not my usual sneeze. And it would have to be the day on which I forgot my hair bobble too, so as well as tissues and Christmas presents at lunchtime, I now have to get a brush as well (I AM that vain, Carly Simon wrote a song about me even before I was born.) Sneesee
Oh Dom! I knew that somehow, some way, your comment about the dust would come back and haunt you! Of course, that was just wishful thinking on my part! You poor thing! Although, I have some seriously dusty furniture that needs to be moved around here. Thanks for such a lovely observation, the thought of you, sneezing and moving furniture is absolutely YUMMY! Link to comment

Dawnie
Thanks for such a lovely observation, the thought of you, sneezing and moving furniture is absolutely YUMMY! Been there, done that. The last time I actually had a real sneezing episode was back in April when we moved. The dust finally caught up with me to. Like Dom, dust rarely effect me. Very cute obs. Bless you Dom. tma
*grin* You.... swear..... ? *keels over from shock* Maybe it was one of those one good deed gets another- but you were missed a bit in the circle. Since your good deed got some of us who didn't lug around furniture something good. Although... you *did* have an excuse to buy a new brush... that could be good, couldn't it??Lovely obs (as Always) and belated blessings. Link to comment
Enkidom
Thank you, I'm very glad you all enjoyed. LOL...Though I do seem to have made more work for myself in the furniture moving/dusting department, mind you a good cup of coffee and a piece of carrot cake and I'm easily bribable! And it is true, I did get a new paddle-brush out of it, which I desperately needed, because for long hair they are great!Indeed I do tma! Shocking I know. LOL...And Nicole, that was motorway traffic, not London traffic. I'm much, much worse in London city traffic! Link to comment
