Female Coworker Again

I've mentioned my coworker before, but I'll state it again. She's one of the sneeziest people I know! She has allergies to dust and cats, always sneezes in fits of 4 or 5, and is prone to colds. She's also 21 years old, fit and trim (but not skinny), with medium brown hair and highlighted tips and sits across from me so I can normally see the entire display!

I'll always bless her and she'll always laugh it off and bring up some sneezing conversation like how her nose itches, or how she's been sneezing ALL morning, or her sneezes woke her up and she couldn't get back to sleep. The interesting thing about her fits is that it's very predicable. She always sneezes in 4's or 5's with a 16-18 second pause between each sneeze and a very tortured looking build-up with a hard wet blow at the end.

Today she was sneezing again, which is not a surprise by now but enjoyable nevertheless. She started one of her fits while she was asking me a question. I was standing by her desk so I got to watch the entire thing again up close while pretending to be waiting patiently for her to finish. Sure enough, she sneezed 4 loud HEH-chnggh! into her already soiled tissue.

After she blew her nose wetly she grunted and said "Agh, I've been sneezing all morning! I just couldn't stop. I think I'm coming down with another cold."

"Aww how do you think you caught it?"

"I dunno. I just wasn't feeling well this morning."

At this point we went back to discussing what she was asking before being interrupted. Without thinking, I picked up her pen to show her what I meant. After she understood, I walked back to my desk. Then I looked down and my hand was wet and sticky. Confused, I glanced back to see what I had touched and noticed her pen was also glistening wet with a couple very soiled tisses beside it.

It stopped me in my tracks as I made the connection. A bit disturbing to me, but I just went to wash it off. I'll have to remember to be careful what I touch at her desk!

Oh Gross! I'm not into the whole used tissue thing, so I don't know how I would have reacted. Hope it wasn't too bad an experience for you.

Wow...that is exactly the kind of sneezes that I crave to see. You are so lucky to have a coworker like that. Thanks for sharing.

Augh! Omg. XD haha~! Hmm! I dunno if I'd be grossed out or not. I think it'd depend on whether I thought the girl was really cute and whether I wanted to get sick.

Yes, having to wipe one's hands might be a bit over the top; but then. if you just transfer the naughty stuff to a hankie, you get the best of both worlds.

Does not compute with my acute germophobia... heck... I can't imagine a scenario where that would happen to me, I'm just way too careful (like about a week ago when my friend was sick in school and forgot his pencil case so I lend him a pen and then when I got home I contemplated burning the pen and settled for washing it and making a mental note of never putting it in my mouth.... ). Blah.

LOL! Well, without resorting to staring at my watch, I have counted the seconds off mentally in my head. After a while you sorta just know when the next sneeze is coming. And I've noticed she'll stop completely whatever she's doing until her fit is finished.

I've also mentioned before that she rubs her nose A LOT. Usually with her palm, rubbing upwards at her nostrils. But she'll also give her nose a good strong rub with her pointer finger.

I'm not a germophobe but I'm not entirely into hankies and tissues either. I personally prefer a tickly itchy torturous nose any day Needless to say, I enjoy working with her

Actually I do think she is cute She's not skinny bone type but athletic and fit with nice curves. I think a lot of the guys are attracted to her even though they're all married and twice her age

And she normally does cover up. She keeps a box of tissues by her desk, but she goes through them so fast. When she's not sneezing, she's either blowing her nose or rubbing at it. So I think she doesn't always toss used tissues the moment she's done with them because there'll normally be more soon.
