Sneezes This Week (male, my bf)

Well, I haven’t had many sneezes to share for awhile, as R’s holiday job means I haven’t been able to spend nearly as much time with him as when we are in uni. But this week I have saved up two sneeze stories and one observation for you guys, so here goes!

Sneeze Story One:

R told me about one of his work-sneezes this week and I thought I'd share it here as well. R’s office is heavily air conditioned, and both cold air and cold drinks make him sniffly. And as he was carrying a big box of documents right through the middle of the office, he suddenly felt his nose tickle, and before he could do anything to stop it, he sneezed loudly and wetly right onto the box! Everyone heard and had the potential to see (it is one of those open offices with small "divided' cubicles). Without stopping, he quickly continued walking to his desk, and when he looked down he saw a tiny spray of sneeze goo on the box! Hehehe…

Sneeze Story Two:

This moring I was in a silly upset mood for no reason (ok… no GOOD reason) and R called me from work. I was sounding very unenthusiastic on the phone, and abandoning all traditional mathods, R suddenly starts a fit of fake sneezing! And he’s in that open office I told you about! He's being so enthusiastic, with these build ups and everything, and I start laughing immediately. “Atchooo! Hetchew! Ah ahh… etchoo!” R is laughing and “sneezing” and I can’t stop giggling, while saying “nooooooo! Stop it! You can’t use that!!” But he already knows it’s making me smile, so he does quite a few more, to my amusement. I end up feeling a lot better because he was being a sweetie. But the real funny part comes later.

This loud, middle aged woman sits across from him, and heard him “sneezing”. While we were on the phone she had looked up at him and was like “What’s going on? What are you doing?” because she couldn’t tell if R was faking (because… why would anyone just start a random fit of fake sneezing?!) and R just kept laughing and looking at her and pretending to sneeze! With the face and everything. She must think he is a bit strange after that! :cryhappy:

Lucky Last… my observation:

On Monday I had come to visit R after work and we were walking through this small park next to a bunch of retail shops. It had been a really gloomy day, and as we sat on a wooden park bench as it started sprinkling. Not being put off, we just ignored the droplets and sat there talking and occasionally cuddling. After only a few minutes, it had started pouring. We ran under the awning of one of the retail shops, and I got quite excited because it seemed like a fun and romantic thing to cuddle under this shelter while it rained buckets. There was hardly anyone else around and the shops were closed, so I wrapped both my arms around him as we continued talking to each other.

I was in the middle of a sentence when R’s gaze kind of drifted away from my face and fell somewhere around my shoulder. He looked like he was in distant thought, or trying to remember something, but then he half-raised his eyebrows and gave me a watery-eyed look, knowing he was going to sneeze but wanting warn me… I smiled at his adorable face and kept my arms loosely around him so I wouldn’t restrict him. Inhaling slowly, his mouth was slightly open for a second and he squinted his eyes, then let the sneeze kind of throw himself forward into me. It was a nice forceful one, like “Heh-Shheeeuuuuuww!!” Completely uncovered, I saw the whole thing as he relaxed and sneezed towards me, and felt it a little on my shoulder and the side of my cheek.

I squeezed him so tight after that one, saying “Awwwwwww, my baby!” and he kind of grinned and sniffled at me. Of course, this had to lead to some heated kissing, so lucky for me the area was pretty empty. But later on, the sneeze came up again in our conversation. We were in one of those moods, and R said to me “You, know, I’m so lucky. All the things other people find gross, you find cute or sexy. And I do all those things all the time, so I don’t have to feel embarrassed about it.”

Of course I knew what things he meant, but I couldn’t resist getting him to say all my trigger words out loud! :D

Me: “Like what?”

R: “You know! Like when I always sniff, or if I cough and you think it’s cute, and the whole sneezing thing… and how I don’t have to cover my mouth… I love it.”

Wheeehehehe I’m getting that whole soppy gooey feeling again just writing all this down! Enjoy! :D

Awe! Sweetie! I LOVE your R obs!!! You're so lucky to have him, he sounds like such a great guy!

Both stories and the obs were wonderful, but I loved the story about how he was fake sneezing at work. What guts! I can barely sneeze for real in public let alone fake sneeze. How cute that he was able to do that for you!!

DAMN GIRL! You are so lucky! The whole situation in the rain, is one of my absolute favorite scenarios! How cool for you? That was amazing! And the discussion afterwards was cute, too! Now he no longer has to cover in front of you, awwwwwwwww!

I also liked the fake sneezing on the phone! How cute that he wanted to cheer you up so much, that he made himself look silly and kept fake sneezing! I love it!

My husband did something sort of similar this week. I didn't feel like it deserved it's own observation, but I figure you wouldn't mind a small threadjack in here, right Aisha? :) I was so mad at him yesterday. He started a huge fight right before he left for work, and then it continued on the first phone call he made to me after he left. I was pretty angry, and told him so when he called me at lunch. As we talked, and he was apologizing for his behavior, he sneezed. It was sunny out, and I knew it was a real sneeze, and that he did it just for me. It did cheer me up, but I was also kind of annoyed that he'll use sneezing to say he's sorry, but not neccessarily what he could use it for!

So, end of threadjack! Thanks for such lovely observation about R, Aisha. He's definitely a keeper, that one!

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Lalena - ^_^ aw, I'm glad you like my obs about R, I always pay the most attention to his sneezes, so 95% of the time they involve him! :) For me, the fact that you can sometimes let out a real sneeze in front of someone is something I really admire you for!! Thats somewhere I want to get.

Sneesee - A threadjack eh? No soup for you!!!

I actually love your stories about your husband, and doing that for you to cheer you up makes him a real sweetie. If only he realised what enormous potential he has when it comes to you and sneezing!! I always get in such a twist when R incorporates a sneezing somehow into an apology, because I want to make sure he knows that sneezing isn't the solution to everything.... BUT... awfully enough, when it comes to HIS sneezes... it happens to be the solution to most things!! :blushing: Even when I try not to smile or act pleased... I can't contain it...

CarolinaGirl - ;) I'm glad you enjoyed!!

I know exactly what you mean, and sometimes it just infuriates me! After hubby did that for me, he asked me later if it felt even more special, and I lied and said NO. I told him that when it was used as an apology, it just makes me less mad, it doesn't make me feel special, even though it still does!

I also had a friend do this to me once on the phone. He was being rather nasty tempered and mouthy with me, and I got really upset (even though I think he was only teasing, but I was feeling rather sensitive that night when we were talking). Anyway, he had previously recorded a double sneeze for me, and after I yelled at him and told him he was being an insensitive jerk, he re-played the recording and asked me if that made me feel better. Damn those men for trying to get out of trouble with such adorable sneezes! I'm including R in this little rant, too! :cryhappy:

Sneesee - I'm with you on that! Someone sneezing for me always manages to make that person more endearing, and makes me feel special whether I like it or not. Dang, that was some quick thinking of your friend to use his pre-recorded sneezes as a quick fix for his blunder... I wish WE had some magic weapon like that!

I can think of one time when the reverse was true... (kind of!) R was once having a serious talk with me, which is pretty rare, he's not often one for angsty converastions. But this was as close as I came to getting in trouble, and in the middle of one of his sentences he paused, sneezed, then quickly followed with... "please ignore that!". I managed to keep a straight face and not jump all over him, but he was the one who cracked! Only a few seconds later he couldn't help grinning (that "hehehe-look-what-I-just-did" grin!) So that kind of changed the direction of the conversation!:innocent:

coyoteraven21 - :D I'm glad you enjoyed hun, I also love feeling the sneeze, it's one of my favorite things!
