colorado198219
I was wondering if any one here like me is sort of jealous of people who have co-workers, significant others, roomies who sneeze alot talking about their observations.A few years ago I had a friend who didnt know how much I liked sneezing. Who talked about his sneezey roomie and his mornings fits of 20 sneezes or more right after he woke up. In fact sometimes I just sat having fantasies about what it would be like just to hear all those amazing sneezes first thing in the morning, all I can say is that guy is amazing at finding good roomies.I also tend to be jealous when I out and about and see a women with with a guy who is itching his nose. I remember I was in a restaurant once and this women's lover was itching his huge nose and I was just so envious of her. Juding by how much he was itching his nose she probubly has seen some amazing observations of his sneezes.Anyway, am I the only one who is a bit envious and jealous of people who have significant others and roomies who talk about the sneezing observations they experience? Guest UncommonCold
You're not the only one. lol As for me, when I see other people with a cold I'm like, "Why don't I catch one too? " There was one time I was in a class and two friends who sat near me had a cold. It was a very yummy cold. They sniffed and coughed and sneezed a lot. I so wanted to catch it. I even borrowed stuff from one of them and rubbed my nose afterwards. But nothing happened. There was another time I went out of a cold shower and slept soaked and naked in a room with an aircon and a fan blasting. I even covered myself with a wet towel. It was a torture but all I got was a husky voice. >.< And last weekend, my cousin had a really bad cold. She was sniffling and coughing a lot. I wanted to catch it, and I would have tried if I didn't have important exams waiting for me this weekend. That's becoming a rant. O_o Sorry about that. Link to comment
And Beat Him When He Sneezes
Of course I'm jealous, especially of those 18+ obs. With non-18+ ones I remind myself that I once had a very sneezy roommate, and listening to his fits was kind of cool but nothing all that special. Sometimes I'd hear him sneeze loudly in the next room, shout blessings, and induce loud ones of my own to see if he'd respond. He usually did, and that was cool, but that was it, and in fact I wound up hating him before we moved out. That's an effective antidote to jealousy of all sorts, actually: remind yourself that when you get what you want, you don't think it's that great anymore. Link to comment
Esperanza
I was wondering if any one here like me is sort of jealous of people who have co-workers, significant others, roomies who sneeze alot talking about their observations.I always think these people who manage to get loads of obs are lucky, but I think I would only be jealous if I was attracted to the sneezer. For example, I find one of my friends, N, really attractive, and sometimes I feel a little jealous of her girlfriend getting lots of obs from her! Maybe 'jealous' is a little strong, but I certainly wish I could have those obs I think that a little while ago my answer would have been different. At the moment, only sneezes from those I am attracted to have any effect on me, but before any female sneeze would be great. So then, yes, I would have been jealous of other people who get loads of obs from someone. Link to comment
Sneesee
I know exactly what you're saying! My situation is this, if I am close to the person, and know that they sneeze a lot, I am jealous of the people that get to be around it on a regular basis, when I don't. Long story short, I used to work with a cute, sneezy young man named Jeff. And he was good for a few every week I worked with him, just about. When he transferred stores, I was jealous of all the employees of the new store, because they got to be around his sneezy arse all the time. Still am jealous, as a matter of fact. Also, I am jealous of any of his girlfriends, because he also admitted that sometimes he has to sneeze during intercourse, and so they get to experience that, and I can't. Damn it! So, yeah, the ugly green monster rears its head a lot whenever I think of him, at work, or out on a date, and he's sneezing in front of all of them, but not me anymore. Link to comment
Bondi
I don't really see the point in being jealous of someone who knows someone else who sneezes a lot, because unless that person has a sneeze fetish, they're probably not going to care that someone sneezes a lot so while they would see the person sneezing a lot, any pleasant effects from other person's sneeziness would be lost on the witness because the witness has no reason to get excited about it. Basically they're situation is in some ways equal to our own. We would enjoy seeing the person sneeze a lot, but we don't get to see it; the person who does get to see someone else sneeze a lot doesn't have a sneeze fetish, so they don't give a shit that they get to see the person sneeze a lot and would probably mostly ignore it after a while. It would be like if I saw someone having the hiccups and was with that person for a while, and then later on a hiccup fetishist got all jealous about how "lucky" I was; it wouldn't make much sense to me because yeah I saw her having the hiccups, but I don't have a hiccup fetish so I wasn't really paying much attention to her hiccups.I'm also not really sure how much someone who doesn't have a sneeze fetish would enjoy it if their partner sneezed while they were having sex either. tma
If I am attracted to the person- heck yeah!My s.o. doesn't sneeze very much and basically only singles. So... *sigh* Link to comment

The phrase "pearls before swine" comes to mind. The jealousy stems from the person not knowing how lucky they are, for having this gold wasted on someone who can't appreciate it. Link to comment
Niceguy
Hell yes! And I married a fairly sneezy woman myself, but it don't matter. I'm still jealous as hell! Link to comment

atchoum
It's interesting to find out who is jealous of others sneezing or observing sneezes. The first scientific article about the sneeze fetish focused on this aspect, as the subject was almost pathologically jealous of his SO's sneezes. You can find it on the Sneezing males for males site here :http://groups.yahoo.com/group/sneezingmale...mic%20articles/It certainly does not seem to be connected with sexual orientation. I'm disappointed if I miss someone sneezing, but I've never felt jealous about it. Link to comment
Bondi
I probably wouldn't be that upset if someone sneezed and I wasn't there to see it, since it would probably not be possible for me to see/hear every single one of her sneezes anyway. It would still be nice if she told me about it. On the other hand, I guess if your significant other had a cold or allergies and someone else were being way too nice about it, I guess I can see how that might be weird and irritating to someone. Elle
Oh hell yes I'm jealous, if they're attractive. Especially since my bf told me he had awful allergies and I have seen only 1 sneeze. And then my friend tells me about her bf's awful allergies and I get all wistful wishing that I had that. Link to comment
chui
i dont really get jealous about it. sure, there are people i know who drive me absolutely wild with their allergies, but i dont actually get jealous of the people who are around them more than i am. i tend not to think about it like that. i might catch myself in a spare moment wishing i could here them again, but i dont tend to think about the other people around them. like Bondi said, those people dont notice/appreciate it the way we do, so they usually dont ever pop into my mind. i dont even get jealous of the other fetishists i know with really sneezy SOs. *shrug* maybe i should.... My boyfriend doesn't sneeze much at all and when he does it's usually only a single. I love his sneezes and they turn me on a lot but I always find myself wanting more, especially after not seeing him sneeze for a while. Can anyone help me find a way to handle feeling down because I rarely see him sneeze? Link to comment
Hankysneeze
I dont know if jealous is the right word for me, of course we all want to be around people that sneeze alot but i guess some people just have better luck than others. Unfortunatley for me i one of those unlucky ones, obs seem to be very rare latley Link to comment
Sneezles
I do get a case of the green eyed monster and feel jealous too especially if it's someone who i'm attracted to, or someone who's sneezes I love. I just feel soooo jealous that someone else got to hear them and I didn't - which is crazy as anyone else wouldn't get the enjoyment I would from them. It's not a particularly nice feeling and I wish it didn't bother me - but yeah sadly it does. Link to comment
kilala
Well my SO sneezes a good bit, not constantly though. He's always sniffling and rubbing his nose and eyes though. I don't tend to get jealous though, I guess Im just happy with what I have/get to see. Link to comment
Giant Steps
I don't really get jealous, but then, I don't have sneezy conversations often enough. I just get a longing to have been in the situation, like: "Aww, man. I wish I would've been there!" rather than "Aww, man. I wish I was you!!" Link to comment
NoV
I feel quite lucky that I have a VERY sneezy co-worker who regularly unknowingly treats me to some great sneezing fits due to allergies. However, readi g some of the obs on here does sometimes make me jealous for different sneezing styles... Link to comment

Can anyone help me find a way to handle feeling down because I rarely see him sneeze?Agreed. My girlfriend sneezes rarely, but only ever, and always in a barely audible stifle when it does happen (not my preference). The first time I ever heard her sneeze, we were at a friend's house watching a movie. My arm was around her and I didn't even see it coming, because basically she just put her hand to her face and slightly flinched. No sound, no repeat, nothing.Haha, I got so excited for a second because I was anticipating it for months! Then nothing *sigh*Anyone else? Link to comment
