Coffee Mug
Ok so I wanted to share with you this tiny obs that happened just a few minutes ago!I'm in the office concentrated at my work when suddenly I hear a tickle that starts to born in my left nostril, I thought "oh well, just let it go". Then it grew sharper and spread all throught my nose and my breath began to hitch when suddenly the phone rang! I went "oh ..heh! no.... HEH! .. not now..!" no one of my colleague was there to answer for me so I was obliged to pick up the damn phone! my hand was on the phone who kept on riniging and I began to panic but I couldn't answer before the sneeze would finally come out, it was teasing me like mad! Since that the sneeze decided to drive me crazy with the mad tickling I couldn't wait anymore to answer (my boss would have shouted something like answer the god damn phone someone!!) so I picked up the phone and the sensation just died off. I went through all the conversation with this burning sensation in my right nostril and my nose continued to itch and I had to give a few sharp sniffles, which made me VERY imbarassed Anyways, after having finished the conversation, just a few moments after, the itch came back and I sneezed quite loudly two times in my heands, fortunately I wasn't on the phone anymore!! I would have been soo embarassed if it would have happened!!Ok, I'm back to work now!! I'm in rush so I didn't spend too much time trying not to scare you with my bad english! sorry Link to comment
count tiszula
What a fabulous self-obs! I love all the exciting details of the various tickly sensations. It's interesting that the sneezes pretended to go away, it seems because of a kind of mental block, but hadn't really; in fact they were just lurking and waiting for an opportunity to burst forth with redoubled vigour. It always seems to me that sneezing on the phone is less embarrassing than if you can be seen doing it face to face; perhaps you should practise it to get over your [quite unnecessary] embarrassment... Lynne
heh, the mute button on my headset is my best friend at work I don't have the option to take a break to go blow my nose or whatever, so I just hit the mute button really fast just as I'm about to sneeze, and then hit it again when I'm sure I'm done LOL Friday, I had this guy going, "hello, are you still there?".... ugh.
