So far three I think, all in close succession in the spring then another very mild one a couple of months back.

Usually the first sign is a sore throat.

I'm sure I have given lots of people colds inadvertently. I think my boss once caught a very sneezy cold from me by stealing my phone that I had handled all day whilst sneezing and wiping my nose pretty much continuously.

Yes. My children bring them home from school usually now.

When I am alone or outside in an open space and not close to anyone then yes. I love it.

Paracetomol sometimes. If I feel actively feverish and unwell I take paracetomol and codeine and then float around the room happily, or more often log in here, laugh at everything and leave even sillier comments than usual.

Any time the children are at school.

Generally it starts with a sore throat, progressing to runny itchy nose then congested nose then sometimes a horrible cough. I hate the last part.

Usually, I start off with a dry sensation in the back of my throat, which then, usually over-night, turn into a sore throat. Not the "I can't swallow"-kind; more uncomfortable than anything else. I also get this stuffy feeling in the back of my nose, towards the throat, which makes me not like to drink cold water and stuff because it just feels yucky. That's usually for a day, then the next day, the congestion sets in and I just blow and blow and bow and blow.

Probably, since I have a tendency to work through my colds. Can't tell you how, though.

I'm bound to, probably from co-workers and friends than family members.

As stated in question err... two, and generally just nasal congestion. HEAVY nasal congestion. You can always tell when I have a cold because of my stuffed up voice and inability to say M and N. I never lose my voice with a simple cold, and I very rarely get chest colds with a lot of coughing. I just blow and blow and blow, which also creates another symptom - the cherry red nose and chapping.

My colds are usually pretty bacic. Starts with a sore throat, to a runny nose and some sneezing. Sometimes a bitter cough. Then I get terrible conjestion. On occasion I get really watery eyes that are incredibly sensitive. If its a bad cold my nose'll probably get a little chapped from all the wiping.

I get a yucky runny feeling in my throat which lasts for about a day and then turns into a thick congested feeling in the back of my throat. I have to keep drinking water to try and get the stuff in there to go down my throat / go away. After 2 days of the throat symptoms, the nose begins to get insanely itchy and sneezy, and then blocked and snuffly.

Yeah, I've given my partner some of my colds over the years. We live together, sleep together etc, so it's gonna happen.

Yes, if I'm alone, except when I'm in the major sneezy part where whenever I sneeze, my nose "explodes" and snot and liquid go everywhere.

Not really. I can't swallow tablets so I just tend to take this liquid stuff that's meant to stop the nasal irritation, and Aspirin if I've got a headache.

Runny yucky throat, horribly itchy and irritated nose, MAJOR sneezing (like, if the sneezing part develops in the mid-afternoon, I will sneeze 1-2 times every 20-30 seconds for HOURS. Basically until I go to bed, and then when I wake up I sneeze less but still a lot), runny nose (if I bend down or look down, it gushes like a tap), blocked stuffy nose, thick-feeling throat, hot / heavy head, and sometimes a bit of a cough. I used to get chesty coughs every time I got a cold, but nowadays it tends to be slightly irritated dry coughs that go away quickly.
