A warm, soft hand strokes my cheek lightly. I feel somehow a bit relaxed. I open my eyes and see two beautiful loving eyes watching me. A pair of sweet lips kisses the tip of my nose tenderly.

“Huuh..HektsCHOOOO!”

There goes my ego.

This feeling need to be let go. But not here. Not now. Too many. Too many. Too many people here. I can’t. I can’t. This feeling must not to be released here!

A hand grabs me, pull me into somewhere dark and empty.

Prompt: 90 - Childhood

Word Count: 220

The Girl In The Red Hood

I don’t know what’s so special about the girl in the red hood sitting by the window.

The café is just as crowded as usual, but it seems it’s only me and the girl in the red hood sitting by the window.

Is it her big blue eyes, her curly golden hair, her pointed lovely nose, her innocent and free laugh? I don’t know for sure.

Is it Ann her name, or Alice, or Aily, or maybe something fancy like Deveraux, Zerelda, Nymphandora? I don’t know for sure.

But she is as sweet as a butterfly. That I know for sure.

Look at her eyes.

Couldn’t it be more perfect when they are squinted the way they are.

Look at her nose.

Couldn’t it be more perfect when they are a bit red and flaring the way they are.

Look at her mouth.

Couldn’t it be more perfect when they are opened a little the way they are.

Look at her hand.

Couldn’t it be more perfect when they are raised to her face the way they are.

“HetsCHEEWW!!”

Her head snaps forward just like my brain! I know her!

She is the water flowing from my past. She is the wind blowing in my old house.

She was my caterpillar. She is my butterfly now.

I draw a white handkerchief, just like in our childhood.

I offer it to her, just like in our childhood.

She accepts with a grateful smile, just like in our childhood.

There, I hope you enjoy it! (And I hope this is what we call drabble and I don't misunderstand it :o

Pencil

Word Count: 200

I am thin, I am useful. You can write, you can draw, you can make a line, you can do anything with me. Yes, I am proud being me.

Hei, wait! No, no, no, not you again! Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!

Ooh... you pretty girl with sandy hair…

Why do you always like sticking me into your little nostril and turning me around slowly in it?

You know exactly how your nostril will quiver, how your breath will hitch, how every little thing in your nostril will reject me.

Uh well.. here we go again.

You take me out of your nostril and just let your breath hitch against me. Look at that painful expression in your face. You’re so desperate to release the tickle you yourself have caused. Shame on you! (Though I have to admit, you’re a bit cute right now)

“Huh…huh…Heets-CHEWWW!!”

Yep, I got some fine sneeze spray in my thin body.

“Heet-CHEEEWWW!!”

And more sneeze spray because you always sneeze in two. Yuck!

-The end-

Ps. Well, I have to admit, I like how you smile so contently after your sneeze. Well, I guess you can do just anything with me. How I am proud being a pencil.

Oh my god, pencil reminds me of a wonderfully twisted outcome of a writing assignment my school gave out in elementary school. I like it, great job.

Tatto

“Hai, sweetie! I got great gift for you!” I jumped into his apartment cheerfully. “Guess wha—“ My sentence stopped there when I saw my cute boyfriend all wrapped up in a thick blanket. His nose was all read. His face was pale and a bit sweaty. He sniffled wetly, giving me his puppy look. No question, he caught a bad cold.

“Oh, honey…” I cooed. I cuddled him lovingly, wrapping him in my arms. I kissed his warm neck while he ran his dripping nose on my sleeve, rubbing on it vigorously. No question, I didn’t mind about it not a bit.

His breath hitched against the fabric of my soft scarf. He rubbed it more and more onto it until it got looser and looser hanging on my shoulder. Eyebrows knitted, nostrils flaring, mouth slightly opened, and eyes squinted close, I could feel his warm breath hitching on my cheek and neck, “Heh…heh… hetCHOOOHH”

Rush of germy air blew away my already loose scarf, revealing my great gift.

There, on my bare shoulder, was a tattoo of his name misted by his own sneeze. He smiled at me oh so sweetly.

Prompt 82: Magic

Word Count: 195

I was in a room. There was this handsome guy. He’s around 26. He rubbed his nose. He sniffled wetly. He walked across the room but then stopped. His mouth slacked open, his head tilted back as he hitched, “Huh…huh…” I positioned myself in front of him. “HeeSHOOOOH” His head snapped forward and I felt this fine sneeze mist on my face and body. He sniffled, wiping his nose and mouth, not giving me a slightest glance. I smiled contently. Then I was gone.

I was in a room. There was this handsome guy. He’s around 26. He rubbed his nose. He sniffled wetly. He was reading the newspaper. His mouth slacked open, his head tilted back as he hitched, “Huh…Huh…” I wrapped my hand around his neck from behind. I could feel how his body moving up and down as he hitched away until.. “HeeSHOOOH” His head snapped forward. I felt a bit of fine sneeze mist on my hand, but most of it hit the newspaper. He sniffled, wiping his nose and mouth, not giving me a slightest glance. I smiled contently. Then I was gone.

That, my friend, is the magic of imagination.

Prompt 55: Ruin

Word Count: 182

I sniffled. Uh.. I hate going to school when I got cold.

I hate being in a room full of people, --a girl with smooth golden hair come in-- especially her.

She’s wicked, she loves making fun of everybody. Look how she smiles so smugly after she push a nerdy kid, causing all of his books spattered all over the classroom. Look how she says with her annoying voice, how bad Samantha’s hair looks like, a bee could mistake it with its nest. Look how Samatha’s face glow in red.

Here, she comes, walking toward me in her-all-gallantly air. Yuck! What perfume does she wear? It’s so..huh..so…huh…its aroma huh.. tickles my heeh..hehh.. already burning no..huh…nose…

She stops in front of me, filling every air around me with her wicked perfume.

“Oooh, catching cold, are you, Sniffle?” Says her with-her-pretending-I’m-worried-voice. “Again? That greasy nose of yours never let you go, isn’t”

She reaches out and touches the tip of my nose with her perfumed finger.

“HASHOOOH!! HwaAASCHOOOHH!!”

I successfully ruin her hair-do, make up and day. After all, today is a nice sick day at school.

Prompt: 31- Calculating

Word Count: 138

Tick-tock…tick-tock… I watched the clock. That fat man watched the clock. Somebody with the camera in the back sighed, definitely out of boredom.

The breeze blew softly into the wide open window, I gasped almost immediately,

“Huh..huh…hiihh…HitCHEWWW!!” Finally, ten dollar. “HestCHEEW!” Twenty dollar. “HeesSSCHEEW!” Thirty dollar. “Huh…huh…HeIISCH… HesCHWAAH…HEsCWOOH..HeiIISCCHH..HEsssCCHH..HebscHOOOH…HasSSCHH..” Forty, fifty, sixty, seventy, eighty, ninety, a hundred.

My nose was on fire, “HESCHHEEWW!!” A hundred and ten dollar. “HAKTSCHOOO!” A hundred and twenty. “HeebSCHOO!” More and more sneezes exploded, more and more money I got.

The fat man yelled, “Stop it!” The light went off. The camera stopped shooting. The breeze blew more violent. “HatSCHEEEWW!! HEScccCHOO!! Two hundred thirty dollar, two hundred forty dollar. “HUaSSTCHEEEWW!!”

“Stop it!” The fat man walked towards me, “HekSTCHOOH! HesCWAAHH!!”

Spraying his fat face. “Stop it! Stop it! I don’t have that much money!”

Prompt: 3 - Frightened

Word Count: 202

My palms are sweaty. I’ve never been this frightened before. Maybe because I’ve never been in this closed space with this many people. I breathe in the breath they breath out, imagine that! Oh, those germs! Those germs! I shuddered involuntarily. What if this girl right next to me has a cold? Look at those pointed nose with narrow nostrils. It flares a little with every breath she let out, imagine how many viruses and bacteria in that one full breath?

Sniff! Oh no! That male with glasses just sniffled, imagine those mucus he has in his pointed nose. Oh, those germs! Those germs!

Hm-Eehm! Oh, my gosh! That woman just cleared her throat, uughh.. scratchy throat means cold, tonsillitis, bronchitis. Oh, those germs! Those germs!

My palms are sweaty considering all those germs they spread in this little elevator box. All you need is just a good sneeze to infect all these people. Uhh! I shuddered. And it’s a bit cold in here, too, what a pleasant place for any cold viruses to climb into someone’s nose and…huh..tick..huh… tickle..it… like…huh… this…”HeesTCHEWW!!”

Everyone in the elevator look at me with disgust. The male with glasses wipe his arm I accidentally sneezed on.

Hot/Cold

200 words

It was one hot summer day. I sat idly in a café. Finding not much to do, I laid my eyes onto a beautiful young woman sat in her white summer dress. She sniffled, took out lace white handkerchief, then blew her nose softly. She sighed before planted a well-mannered sneeze into her hankie. She rubbed her nose slightly. She looked so tired.

Suddenly, her expression softened and a tall male whose face I could not see came to her. He hugged her and gave her a kiss in her forehead. She gasped, turned her head away and sneezed uncovered towards the table. The hot summer sun coming from the window beautifully exposed her misty spray. The man pulled out his handkerchief and I could see from his gesture from behind, he was so concerned and sweet. He waited patiently when her breath hitched and finally sneeze into his hankie. He put away a stranded hair. He helped her drinking his tea. I smiled thanking God for such a sweet love.

And finally, in the hot summer day, he held her feverish body tightly, facing me, letting me see his concerned face.

I felt icy cold. It was my husband.

Punch in the gut? I actually gasped with shock... I so wasn't expecting that ending!

Thank you for all the comments! Yeah, the ending's kinda shocking and sad...

Here's another drabbles. Hope it's not too bad, cause I wrote it in a hurry.

Prompt 16: Three

One thing I notice about her. She sneezes. A lot.

Two things I notice about her. She sneezes. Once, twice, but never thrice.

Three things I notice about her. She sneezes. Now. HetsCHOO! HeeSscHOO! Heh…heh…

Her breath hitched, will she hit the third and makes it four things I notice about her?

Heh..heeh..huufh.. She sighs in relief. I smile.

She sneezes a lot but never thrice.

Prompt 29: Purple

Purple is her favorite colors. Purple is her day when I say I love her. Weird, huh? Well, she loves purple and she loves the day when I say I love her. Makes more sense now, huh?

Purple is her favorite colors. Purple is her day when I say I must leave her. Now, that’s weird, huh?

Well, she loves purple and she hates the day when I say I must leaver her, so she wears all her purple accessories to make it a better day. Makes so much sense now, huh?

Purple is her favorite color. Purple is her day when I come back to her and ask her to hide with me in a closet. (Not so weird, cause her closet is all purple).

Purple is her favorite color. And purple is her day when I confess, I am an agent in training, that was why I must leave and that is why I must hide her. I have no time to explain why my confession makes it purple for her, cause the enemies comes into her bedroom, search everything.

My heart beat so fast and skip a beat when a so familiar sound come from her. "Huh.."

Smartly, I clamp my hands at her face. Purple is her face when she tries to hold back her sneeze. In vain.

“HetSCFFHH!” Something wet hit my palm as two things happen at once.

The closet door open, a gun fired. Purple is my day when I loose her.

Oh no, another sad ending... Sorry...

Prompt 85: Teacher

Female sneezing

This can’t be good. First day of being a teacher in a first day of a school year with a first day of cold. My nose keep tingling now and then, but never let me sneeze it all out. So I was like an idiot with my idiotic on off pre-sneeze expression but nothing happened at all. I glared at a little girl who’s starring at me with most interested look upon her face. Seriously, not a good day to test my patience.

I rubbed my nose impatiently in front of the class while waiting for a-13-years-old-dork who found difficulties remembering the fourth reason Pluto’s crossed out as a planet. He said something like errr…errrr… when my nostrils widened on its own accord. I knew it was just another tickle that wouldn’t let itself released and gave me such a blissful after-sneeze feeling. So, I just stood there and waited for the answer, occasionally rubbed my nose.

“Okay, enough. Read..huhh..more about the..uuh..” I was trying to be stern to him when suddenly I felt the tickle intensified. But I was nowhere near my hankie. I turned away so as not to sneeze on the dork and released three wet full-force sneezes, “HetsCHOOH! HeIISCCH! Huh…huh..HESSCHOOH!!”

“Why, bless you Ms.Leigh. But our janitor would be more than glad to use water to clean up the board.” I opened my eyes and gasped. I’ve sprayed all over the blackboard. There goes my first day.

Prompt: 49- Sweat

Female again

I am obsessed with perfection, with order, with appearance. I want everything to be in its right place, at the right moment. Yes, I am tense. I can not remember when is the last time I feel relax.

He strokes my hair, I sigh in relief, how I love being on his chest, feeling his breath above my head, feeling his arms wrap around me, so safe, so relaxing. I close my eyes, smiling contently.

All of sudden, “HesCHOOO!!” escape my nostrils and mouth, wetting his arm and chest. “Oh no, I am so sorry..” I tried to get up and rub dry his wet arm when another, “HutsCHEEW!” betrays me, misting his face. “HngstchxxH!” I manage to stifle the next wet sneeze into my hand. I walk away from him, feeling disgusted by the very act I just did, and also disappointment and anger towards myself too. “I am sorry, I didn’t…” He seals my-wet-after-sneezes-mouth with his gentle kiss and whispers, “I’ve told you for a millionth time, don’t sweat over small stuff, honey.”
