A lot of things have changed since writing the last guidelines post for this section on June 15, 2003, and as such, the guidelines should change as well. The general principle and purpose remain the same, but the methods have changed; instead of videos mailed to peoples' houses, most of the Sellers have used paid membership sites and/or clip stores. Therefore, the guidelines need to reflect that.

Note: From here on, Sellers will be any member—whether they have a sneeze fetish themselves or not—who is selling a commercial product to the community that in some way indulges the sneeze fetish, nose-blowing fetish, etc., and Buyers will be anyone buying such material.

Legal Disclaimer: Transactions between sellers and buyers are solely between the seller and buyer, and the Staff of the Sneeze Fetish Forum will not in any way intervene, nor will we provide any protection against fraud or compensation from fraud, nor will we be in any way responsible for any transactions. We are unable to screen Sellers, nor do we make any guarantees to their honesty, integrity, reliability, or of the quality of their products. By purchasing from these sellers, you will do so under their terms and conditions, and will do so at your own risk.

Here are the guidelines:

1. Advertisements for commercial products must be made here in the Trading Post board, and only in the Trading Post board. Sellers are allowed to post elsewhere on the forum provided that their messages are somehow relevant to the thread they are posting in and are not trying to sneak in plugs for their own commercial products and services. You may not provide links to your clip stores in your signatures or profiles and the actual content of your posts should in no way advertise your products or services unless the post is made within the Trading Post section.

2. This section is for advertising products and services that in some way cater to the Sneeze Fetish, Nose-Blowing Fetish, etc., and advertisements that have nothing to do with said fetishes will be viewed as Spam by members of the Staff and will be promptly be deleted, and your account may be warned, suspended, or deleted, depending upon various factors.

3. The Staff is in no way affiliated with any Sellers, and do not in any way endorse any products or services advertised within this section; we simply allow Sellers space to advertise their products. Members of the Staff who have purchased the products may write reviews later on; however, said testimonials should be viewed as a customer review and not an official endorsement or denouncement of the product by a member of the Staff.

4. As per rule number three, no current Seller will be appointed to the position of moderator, do to the potential conflict of interests of being a Seller as well as a member of the Staff. Likewise, should any member of the Staff choose to begin selling sneeze-related products to the community, they will be asked to step down from their position, though would still be placed in the VIP Members group, as are all other former Staff Members.

5. While with completely free merchandise, such as wavs posted on Bondi's Wav Page, I would simply say that if you don't like the way a particular person sneezes, you shouldn't listen to his/her wavs, when you're paying money for the material, that makes things completely different. Therefore, praise as well as constructive criticism is allowed within the Commercial Section; however, all criticism must remain friendly, constructive, calmly and rationally written and should not include screaming text (ALLCAPS), insults, flames, or any blatantly derogatory comments. Simply saying that something sucks is not good enough; you should explain why you didn't like the material if you wish to publicly express your dissatisfaction. For example: Buyer says that the sneezes sound faked; that would be acceptable, as potential buyers might want to know beforehand if the sneezes are fake or not. Whereas calling someone a fraud or a lying slut would be completely unnecessary and as such your post would be deleted and you would be warned.

6. Likewise, Sellers are to be courteous, friendly, and respectful when responding to criticisms about your material.

7. We strongly encourage Sellers to provide free samples of their material so that potential buyers can see and evaluate the clips prior to purchasing. This is not a requirement, but is strongly recommended and will help buyers to make a better and more informed decision as to which clips they wish to purchase.

8. Any pictures you post must be loaded either from your own server or from a free image-hosting site, such as PhotoBucket.

9. Sellers must have a valid email address posted publicly within their profiles so that buyers will have some means of contacting them should any problems arise. It does not have to be your personal email address, or one from your ISP; simply opening up a free email address from Yahoo! or Hotmail will suffice. Should any problems arise, such as a Buyer paying for a clip and being unable to download the clip for some reason, or paying for something and never receiving it, then the Buyer should contact the Seller with the problem and try to resolve it privately, and to only post about it here in the Trading Post board as a last resort; and even then, you are to keep things factual, and refrain from flames, insults, screaming text, or accusations. If you are a Seller and someone leaves you negative feedback, please do not bother moderators or admins about the matter unless the post is of a rude or blatantly flaming nature, or they give out personal information. We do not appreciate getting threatened with lawsuits, etc. if the post isn't removed as we are not responsible for the post that was being made and we have no way of knowing whether or not the person complaining about you is telling the truth or not. You may, however, tell your side of the story in a calm, rational, and friendly manner, explaining what happened or what you think might have happened. And who knows? If you do a good enough job explaining everything, then maybe you could turn the whole situation around to work in your favor.

11. If you get scammed out of your money, you may pursue the matter legally so long as it does not involve any of the staff members here at the Sneeze Fetish Forum. However, threatening publicly to commit any illegal activities, such as hacking into another person's computer or invading their privacy somehow, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. We can't stop you from doing this, but we're not going to allow you to flaunt it publicly on this board either.

12. Whether or not a Seller is an actual sneeze fetishist or just someone trying to make money from our community is irrelevant to us; all we care about is that they play by the rules. If it is that much of a big deal to you that the seller is not one of "us", then you have the right to not to do business with them. Just don't stir up trouble and don't try to stop anybody else from doing business with them.

These terms are subject to change with or without prior notice, so it is in your best interest to keep checking back periodically.

I'd just like to add that even in the Trading Post area, we don't permit non-sneeze fetish related commercial posts. If you have something to sell, post it on Craigslist or Ebay.
