coldcure08
So all the stress of the last two weeks has finally caught up with me (moving, housework, drama, cat-spaying, house guests, and baby's drs. appts.). This morning I woke up before the baby did and discovered that my nose was completely clogged. I got up and attempted to blow my nose, however all that did was tickle my nose into a wonderful triple. "Eh-shhh! Hetchhh! Ashhhhuuuuh!" not violent, but very rapid with almost no build-up (odd for me). I shrugged and tried blowing my nose again (dummy), hoping the sneezes had loosened some of the gunk. I sneezed again, another triple but more harsh and demanding, "Aaatchhhhh!! Heshhooo! Heh-Hehhh-shoo!!!"As the day progressed, I was growing more tired, felt dizzy and nauseous, and was sneezing about every fifteen minutes or so, double and triples. On top of this it was raining very hard on the North Shore area (now it's snowing), and I choose this brilliant time to go for a walk. Thirty minutes later, completely soaked, I was running a temperature and very drowsy. Still yicky... Can I have cuddles? Link to comment

KassiePure
Ewww, that is no fun! Except for maybe the sneezing... even during a situation like that, I'd probably find the capacity to find timely triples rather pleasurable ^^ I mean, only when I'm having a particularly bad allergy attack would I ever sneeze like that every 15 minutes! That's sooo cute! I hope you get through everything okay, though. I'd give you cuddles if you didn't mind them coming from another girl XD Link to comment

KassiePure
not at all, I love cuddles!Lol, you're too cute ^^ -hugs the sniffly woman- Who's gonna take care of you? It wouldn't be very fair if you had to endure a nasty cold all by yourself! Perhaps I'm only wondering this because I'm a sucker for caretaking... XD Link to comment
coldcure08
So, as the days roll on, I begin to see a slight worsening in the severity rather than the variety of my cold symptoms. I got little sleep due to my stuffy nose. i have been pushing fluids... but that is not helping much... So far I have:A stuffy nosesneezing (a lot)coughinglow-grade feverchillsI have been buzzing around the house all day since 5:30am, The baby kept me busy and every time I sneezed I had to stifled usually without my hands to assist me, especially around mid afternoon. I felt the tingling itch start in the back of my nose... but i had a pile of laundry and my hands. I began to sneeze and stifled them, as best I could: "Hhhcth!!!! Hxxxghh!!! Hhhssssttthh!!! Hehhhh--ixxxxgh!!!" But I was beginning to lose control of them. I was able to quell them by quickly putting the laundry onto my bed and grabbing a handful of tissues and blowing fiercely into them.If I have more good obs I will keep posting... As always cuddles/hugs/bowls of soup/care-taking is welcomed. Link to comment

KassiePure
As always cuddles/hugs/bowls of soup/care-taking is welcomed. You know I'm a huge fan of all the above, and would gladly pamper a sick girl with all those juicy symptoms you listed! You're extremely good at spelling out your sneezes, by the way; I really liked that part of the observation. Hope you feel better soon, with or without someone there to spoon-feed your chicken noodle soup XpAlthough my officiousness might also push me to try holding tissues to your nose when you need to blow, or giving it a rub after a good sneeze ^^ Link to comment
BananaTree
Awww, how horrible! Feel better soon! Nice descriptions though. Link to comment
