Sneezy Cold

I had to stay in the medical apartment (where all the sick people stay) this week because I was having stomach pains. However, there were three other people there for various reasons, one of which was a friend of mine that had this really bad cough. We hung out in between sleeping and seeing the doctor and the next day I woke up with not only stomach pains but a runny nose that kept me sneezing. By noon, I was sneezing frequently and going through kleenexes left and right.

My friend (who is not J might I add) blessed me a few times but I was sneezing so much that it was really starting to get embarrassing. At one point we were watching tv and this is how the conversation went:

Me: Huh-Iitschu! (sniffle) (pause) Huh-Iitschu! Huh-huh Iiiii-ITSCHU!

Friend: Bless you.

Me: Thanks. HUH-ITSCHU (blows nose)

Friend: Have you taken anything for all that sneezing you're doing?

Me: No. I don't even know how I caught this cold. If I caught anything I'd thought it would be your cough.

Friend: yeah. weird how that happens. But seriously, you should try and take something. You've been sneezing all day.

I then became mortified and self conscious about sneezing and resorted to stifling for the rest of the night. He and i were a pathetic site with him coughing and me sneezing.

So here it is the next day, and I'm now in the privacy of my own home where I am still a sneezy mess but now I don't have to worry about disturbing anyone...except my roommate who doesn't count.

I'm curious as to how I caught a sneezy cold vs. a coughing cold when the sick person i was around wasn't sneezing at all. Maybe it doesn't really matter. Either way, I prefer sneezing over coughing. As I'm sure you all do too! lol.

I had a really sneezy cold last month, with not much other symptoms arnt they just the best! Bless you lots i bet your glad to be home so you can sneeze freely, once again bless you and lovley obs

I love it when I have sneezy colds! Like you, I prefer to have them when not in the presence of others, so that I may enjoy their effects by myself. I really like the way you spelled them out, especially at first so I could capture how desperate those releases must've been, and the pause between made me visualize a certain pre-sneeze expression I thought was adorable ^^
