sneezytwilight
I am at the end of a bad cold. I have not had a severe sore throat for a few days, but this morning I woke up with my throat just throbbing. I took a flashlight and looked in it and saw a white spot on my right tonsil. Can a cold move to your tonsils? I really son't want to fo to the doctor this close to band competition!! please help! Link to comment
murphy dee
Sounds like either tonsillitis or a tonsillolith. The first is a bacterial infection that can be fixed with antibiotics (so yeah, you'll need to visit the doctor). The second is what's better known as tonsil stones. For my money, I'd say it's tonsillitis since you're also experiencing other illness symptoms. I hope you feel well soon! Link to comment
Jorm
It could also possibly be strep throat. Unfortunately whether it's strep or tonsillitis you are going to have to see a doctor. Link to comment
