Well, I feel like a genius this morning. I come down stairs with baby and go into the kitchen to make a bottle. Notice my throat is feeling a little itchy, I kind of cough to try and clear it. Probably from just waking up. Proceed to feed baby and stick him in his jumper. Sniff. Nose is a little runny, but I'm feeling pretty cold so it's probably just that. Put on sweatshirt. Go to deal with loading dishwasher. Nose runs more. My hands are yucky from dirty dishes so I'm trying to sniff back the flow of liquidy mucous trying to escape my nostrils. Rub nose with back of wrist (leaving trail) and start coughing. Wash hands, grab tissue, blow nose, cough more. I don't feel that great, please not coming down with something. Grab another tissue. Blow nose. Wait a sec, my eyes are itchy and starting to water. Cough more. LIGHTBULB, my eyes never itch unless it's allergies (which have been way worse this year). Look up and feel like genius... NOT! I left the stupid kitchen window open part of yesterday and all last night. One of the many windows right next to the evil bushes with yellow flowers. Close window. Somehow I think it's just a little late for that since I've been a sniffly mess all morning. My nose is itchy and tickles like crazy now, but I still haven't sneezed, so I just keep blowing nose and coughing and blinking and trying not to rub my eyes. Definitely not feeling like the smartest person. *coughs and blows nose more
