Talon Winchester
So, I recently was reading creepy urban legends and got this idea! It's a scary legend! I should tell you guys the legend so you understand. Here goes nothing. The Legend: People Can Lick Too There was once a girl whose parents were doctors and left her home alone alot. They got her a dog for protection. One night, she got into bed, reached down for her dog to lick her. The dog licked her reassuringly and the girl fell into a deep sleep. She was awakened by a sound,DRIP. DRIP. DRIP.The girl is to scared to do anything so she reaches down for the dog to lick her. She feels its strong tongue lick her, so she falls back to asleep. She is awakened by the same sound,DRIP. DRIP. DRIP.Once again, the girl is to scared to do anything so she reaches down and the dog licks her hand again. She falls back asleep. A short time later she is reawakened by the dripping sound.DRIP. DRIP. DRIP.She reaches down for the dog's lick and she feels it. She is curious now, so she gets up and walks to the bathroom, where the dripping sound is loudest. She walks in, and sees her dog hanging in the shower, its throat slit, its blood dripping steadily to the ground. The girl turns to face the mirror, and written in the dog's blood are the words:PEOPLE CAN LICK TOOIn the corner of the mirrorshe suddenly sees a long haired teenage boy, lumbering drunkenly down the hallway from her bedroom, clutching a butcher knife. The boy licks his nose. The girl screams.THE ENDThere's also a version where she reaches down to pet her dog but feels human hair instead, and screams.Clip of story: Sam looked in horror at the E-Mail. Dean walked over to Sam. "Sam! I thought you were sick! Sick people don't use laptops." Dean smirked. Sam continued to gape at the E-Mail. "Lemme see that!" snapped Dean, and he grabbed the laptop from Sam...and nearly dropped it. Written in the E-Mail in red font are the words, 'People can lick too!' Suddenly, Dean feels a tongue lick his ankle, right above his ankle. He yells out and jumps back. He looks under the bed. "Sam, I think we picked up a str..." Under the bed, Dean sees a boy, around seventeen or so, clutching a butcher knife and grinning insanely. His tongue darted out breifly and Dean chokes back a scream. The boy's hands are covered in blood. The boy's eyes gleam almost red from under a mess of shoulder length, dark brown hair. "SAM!" Dean grabs Sam and they take off, out the door, into the hallway, and into a janitorial closet. The boy lumbers drunkenly around, looking for them. Dean is just starting to relax when he hears Sam panting next to him. "Aw...no Sam! Don't sneeze!" he pleaded. "S...s...sorry Dean! HEH...heh...HEH-ETCHOO!! HETCHOO!! HATCH!" Sam stifled the third sneeze into the palm of his hand, but it's to late. The door is thrown open and the boy is standing there, smiling wickedly."Found." it murmered.Would you read??? Anonymouse
HOLY CRAP. I can't get beyond the urban legend. That is beyond creepy.I love anything Supernatural and it seems like a lot of people here do too. I'd definitely read it, especially since it seems like you'd stick to the creepiness of the actual show and that's what I love about it. Plus a sneezing while hiding scenario doesn't hurt... LeapYearKisses
*brrrr* I've heard that story before and it always freaks the crap out of me. Putting it into fic form is clever! I bet there are many people who'd love to read it. I'm not into Supernatural fandom right now (I was drawn in by the promise of scariness, lol) but if I was, I would certainly read it.And AnonyMouse is right; sneezing-while-hiding isn't going to hurt your chances any. Talon Winchester
I've started writing it now. It's like I promised except on impulse I added Jezreal from my own stories... It makes them easier to write. I couldn't do a Darza, Samira/Jezreal*, and Quinncen thing because Sammy and Sami would be WAY too confusing. I am working on that too, it's based off a fantasyish story I'm writing. Just on a random idea I'll post a clip of THAT one too Clip: "So who is this man you like?" Darza squinted at Samira who stared into the fire. "It's...it's...it is complicated." Sami shook her head in wonder. "He disapeared long ago. Same time as the Bloodspiller came. Now I'm the last one left." Samira smiled humorously. Her hand twirled a knife between her fingers. Darza was pretty sure Samira didn't know she was doing it because the knife kept cutting her fingers and she didn't seem to notice. "The last what?" Darza questioned. Suddenly Samira seemed on the verge of tears. "I don't remember anymore! When I was Jezreal I knew! I don't even recognize myself." she cried out to the wind, which whipped her pale blonde hair around her face and her silver blue eyes. Then, in a whisper, "He wouldn't even recognize me anymore." Darza was saved from replying to this by a groan and a half stifled sneeze from Quinncen. "Feel any better, Quinn?" she asked the dark haired boy. Quinn sat up and glared at her. Turning away from her, he sneezed twice to his right. "Eh...CH-IH! CHSH! Ugh...feel like crap..." Quinn moaned. Samira threw a half empty bottle of pills at him and Darza couldn't help but notice the way he looked at her. When Quinn told her thanks, Sami just nodded without emotion. Darza loved Quinn and she couldn't let Samira have him. Then, Darza had a plan. Link to comment
