sneezytwilight
Its allergy season. And all of us on here knows exactly what that means!! More sneezing from people around us! More sniffles. And if there are people out there like me...more sinus infection. My allergies have already started. I am actually sneezy. My nose is red and runny. But the kind of runny that is like *snot* like. I always sneeze in doubles from allergies. I also have about 1-3 minutes of false starts before it happens. This causes my nose to be extra runny. I also have sinus headaches. This may be the first year I actually get sneezy from allergies!!! I am soooooo happy! So you may discuss anything about allergies here. Just like yourself or other people. I really don't care! Just have fun! I know I will. Link to comment
sneezes
awww sorry your allergies r playing up hun...i know mine are starting to , not the hayfever one just yet, but my dust allergy, is really playing up constantly sneezing and itchy watery eyes. Link to comment
Butch
sneezytwilight - wow..not every allergy sufferer is happy to sneeze! This is why this forum exists! Congrats. I can't even tell if allergies are bugging me, 'cause I have a cold right now, but, normally, allergy season starts with sinus headaches.. I hate those. I'd rather sneeze than be in pain, if that makes sense. Mine have already started with tree pollen, which hasn't hit peak season, yet, but we've had a few REALLY high pollen count days already. With allergies comes the itchy watery eyes, sore, itchy throat, and drainage in my ears and even mild allergy-induced asthma symptoms. Like I said... sneezing is the high point. The rest.. I could leave that all behind. Link to comment
sneezytwilight
Mims- Aw, Sorry you have a cold! *hugs* Hope you get better! ♥ Yesterday the pollen count was at 300! No wonder my allergies are kicking. I've already sneezed about 20 times today! my record when I'm not inducing. My throat hurts a bit. Possible sinus infection already?!? I don't know. I'll have to wait and see. As long as it doesn't turn bacterial like 1 week ago, I'll be ok. I had to get Zithromax. Stuff works great was better within 3 days! Link to comment
Butch
sneezytwilight - Aww. *hugs* Thanks for the get well wishes. They're much appreciated.Oh yeah.. a pollen count of 300 is not so great! wow! 20 times.. without inducing. Impressive. I hope you don't get a sinus infection, either. That would suck.As for allergies.. allergy season.. I have this weird feeling it's going to be a bad season for them. Guess we'll have to see... I have many friends with allergies living in warmer climates and they're miserable already!I am curious as to what people are like during allergy season..obviously everyone is different! The Dude
Allergy season is already in effect where I am as well. The weather has begun to warm up considerably, and everywhere you go the scent of honeysuckle and orange blossom lingers in the air. I can't walk outside into the direct morning sunlight without it triggering at least a couple of sneezes, sometimes more than my usual double. I'm not the only one either... everyone around me seems to be feeling it too. This next couple of months should be interesting. Link to comment

BigTymePlayer25
oh yes my spring allergy season has officially begun! Today was our 1st "VERY HIGH" pollen count for the year and its as if my nose was ready to pounce I woke up to let our dog out and immediately started a sneezing fit of about 15...I sneeze in triples for some reason during allergy season....something like ahhhchuuuu, ahhh aahchooo, ahhh ahhh haaachooo! then I'll get a 30 sec to 1 minute or so break before another triple starts...That fit was apparently just the start because later this morning my wife and I went to watch her sister run a 5k and I'd guess I sneezed around 50-60 times in the 2 hrs we were there....I love the sneezing part of allergy season but otherwise I just feel terrible Link to comment
Ali Marie
Oh great! Allergy season started a while back for my co-star. She has been sneezing for months! Ever since we started living in the dormitorys above the theatre working on a musical called Carnival! I think thing are just going to get worse for her & better for me! Link to comment

Alexandra- I'm glad you're going to enjoy your co-stars allergic sneezes! Have fun with that. I wonder ..just generally, how many allergy suffers enjoy ALL their symptoms..not just sneezing. I used to be that girl...you know..without allergies, watching others suffer and wondering what the BIG DEAL was.Now the tables have turned, and now I know why they were feeling so yuck during those seasons..doing the allergic salute, etc. Link to comment

Am I alone here?I've actually outgrown mine quite a bit. They are nowhere near as bad as they used to be. I still feel the effects of my hayfever, but I just don't get overwhelmed by it like I did when I was younger. Link to comment
Ali Marie
I do quite enjoy listen to my sneeze co-star, especially in the morning when we leave the theatre dorms & go for breakfast with the rest of the cast to the Diner, But I myself suffer from allergies. So I'm forced to watch from behind watery eyes. Link to comment
Jorm
I'm jealous, we've only just had the last of the snow melt where I live. Hardly a hint of the approach of allergy season to be seen yet here. Link to comment
lemonade
my allergies have started too. it kinda sucks, because i'm not sexually attracted to sneezing. but this year allergies are really bad. i seem to be obtaining more this year! now roses, crocuses, and willow trees make me sneeze along with my other allergies. the crocuses are terrible because they are the first ones up this year. they're all over my garden! Hawkeye
Allergy season's starting to kick in here too. I just checked the pollen count for today and it's at "medium high" - 9.1 (out of 12). I've been sneezing a lot the past few days. Link to comment

(yes i remember pre-k, in case your wondering, i'm only 14) hayfever was actually quite mild. i would have a lot of sneezes, but not enough to make me feel miserable. but by somewhere around 5th grade to 6th grade, it got really bad. so actually i have kind of what sneezytwilight was talking about.Mod Note: Fixed tags ~Mute Edited March 23, 2011 by The Mute Poet Link to comment
zneeze
Here's hoping you do get sneezing from your allergies this year, sneezytwilight! There is currently snow on the ground where I live. And there shouldn't be. Spring started the other day. I still love colds, but it's about time allergy season begins! Link to comment
