Hello! So I, unfortunately, lost all muse for my Death Note drabbles of yore. But I'm going to try to get all 100 out of a new fandom - Pandora Hearts! For those of you who aren't familiar with it, YOU SHOULD BE. Thank you, Natto, for helping me get back into writing for the forum. <333

I promise I'll do my best to get all 100 done this time around, everyone. I'm also challenging myself to make these all "true" 100 word drabbles rather than short stories, but we'll see how far I get with that. XD;

#66 - Raincoat

Characters - Elliot/Leo

Word Count - 100

Elliot should have known better than to start that argument with Leo. He’d claimed before that the light drizzle outside wasn’t a big enough deal to wear a raincoat out in, and hell, who ever really got sick walking in the rain? But a day later when he’s miserable in bed, sniffling into a soiled handkerchief, it’s his servant who sits at his bed refusing to read passages from his book out loud as he turns the pages silently, grinning smugly.

“You-you’re my servant! You should at least…huh-hnngkssh! --be taking care of me!”

“Elliot, you’re being noisy again. Rest.”

#39 - Muffle

Characters - Oz/Gil

Word Count - 100

“Hmm-ckm!”

Oz’s head snaps up at the strange, muffled sound coming from the other end of the carriage, barely audible over the sound of the wheels on the gravel and the horse hooves.

“Gil? Did you say something?” the young man inquires. His servant is staring out the window, watery eyes obvious in the dim morning sunlight as they blink frantically. Curious behavior…

“No,” he mumbles behind one hand. But his nose betrays him, and the second, more obvious sneeze wrenches from his sinuses before he can stop it.

“I knew it! Gil is allergic to street dust.”

“Shut up.”

#4 - Fake

Characters - Break/Liam

Word Count - 100

It isn’t the first thing that Liam expects to hear upon arrival in Pandora’s headquarters – a nasally sounding Xerxes Break calling his name from behind a bookshelf. He sighs and walks towards him, eyebrows furrowed in frustration and annoyed curiosity.

“Xerxes Break, what are you doing back here?”

“Liiiaaaam, won’t you spare a moment for your oldest and dearest and best friend in all of—“

“Speak faster!”

“I’m quite ill. Cover for me today?”

“…Faking sick to get out of work-“

The loud, uncovered sneeze to the face shuts him up and turns him towards the designated meeting room.

I love your writing more than kitties and ice cream and tea. I love Break being so obvious about it. XD; What did he do, shove some pepper up his nose before Liam came to see him? Also, how did I know you'd do something like the Raincoat one? I don't know the characters, but hello expected theme. I loved it though. Also, the phrase "wrenched from his sinuses" is freakin' awesome. It can be hard to figure out new and creative ways to word these things, so I commend you. Kick-ass job, my dear!
