Anonymouse
I used to pride myself on not having allergies. I'm not sure why, it's not something to be particularly proud of. Every year though for the past few years I've started having one or two days in the spring where my nose gets super itchy. Only for a couple of days though and then its gone.Today is one of those days. Like I said I've never really had allergies, I rarely get sick, I never carry tissues because I never need them. So when these days happen it's kind of a pain in the neck because I'm not prepared to deal with it. Before my afternoon class I spent ten minutes in the bathroom blowing my nose because it was so itchy and I was deathly afraid of sneezing in the middle of class. There was a sneezy feeling there though so I actually rolled up some toilet paper into a point and started inducing. First time inducing EVER, but I figured it was absolutely necessary. I'd rather sneeze unseen and unheard in a secluded bathroom stall in an empty bathroom than in the middle of class. I would absolutely die if that happened.I was also slightly mortified at what I was doing but it felt surprisingly good. I put the point of the rolled-up tissue in my left nostril and started probing around. Nothing really happened but as I pushed in deeper (hesitantly, because I didn't want to damage anything) this HUGE tickle flared up. I moved the tissue back and forth slightly and it kept building and building... by this point I was awkwardly reminded of another similar sensation (ahem). I'm seriously freaked out about how similar they are.I sneezed twice, a pair of "Kitchiew"s. I ended up blowing my nose for five straight minutes because the stream was never ending. This is seriously insane, I can't wait until this brief bout of allergies is over (I'd probably enjoy it if I didn't have to be around people for the rest of the day ). Link to comment

count tiszula
What a lovely self-obs of first time inducing. I do hope you are taking advantage of your newfound technique to have a jolly good private inducing session some time, with all that that will doubtless entail. You could even report back about it.....And who knows, one day you may even come to enjoy these lovely allergies publicly............ Anonymouse
I'll admit I tried twice more to induce - once in my empty house (that rarely happens) and once in the library bathroom - but no results either time! It's so weird, it feels so tickly and yet no urge to sneeze at all. It's so frustrating because my nose is so itchy but I can't do anything about it!I'm not sure I'll ever be comfortable sneezing in public but the internet offers enough anonymity that I'm comfortable sharing with you guys.
