Sniff Sniff

[Natto]

I work in retail, and every so often I get a customer who is deliciously, blatantly ill. Today, a petite blonde woman with green eyes that were ringed with black circles, and a small, hooked nose that was bright red around the nostrils, showed up. In the two minutes it took me to ring her up, she blew her nose four times. She didn't sneeze, but her voice was thick and nasally, and she kept opening her mouth, closing her eyes, and making these delicious hitching noises. "Where do I ahhhhh swipe my hhnnnn card?" Usually these intakes of breath were followed by a wet, gurgly noseblow. When I gave her her purchase and her recipet, I told her I hoped she felt better soon, and her response was, "oh sniff God, me ahhhh sniff too."

No sneezing, unfortunately, but I thought it worth sharing all the same.
