Daydreaming about Fictional Characters...

Because so many people mentioned day-dreaming about fictional characters (or characters that specific actors play...meaning you imagine that actor but as the character they portray), I figured I'd start a topic about the fictional people we dream about in our fetishy fantasies. Who do you like to imagine?

For me, as most of you who have read my fics could guess, it's Remus Lupin from the Harry Potter series, but I've also had daydreams about Sam from True Blood, Will from Shakespeare in Love, Sawyer from LOST, Don Draper from Mad Men, and Holmes and Watson from Sherlock.

Nice idea for a topic. Here is my geeky and arrogant selection:

Leeloo from Fifth Element, Vala from Stargate SG1, Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation. Also, recently, Jo and Megan (characters in the story I wrote on here)

When I imagine sneezy scenarios it's usually with my original characters... lately with a sprinkling of Metalocalypse. I'm sure there's gotta be more. As someone mentioned, Sawyer from Lost once in a blue moon.

Oh, this topic makes me so happy. So basically, I'm a fiction nut - one of those reads-200-books-a-year types. So I fantasize about all characters, basically. All viable, male characters that I read (or see in a movie or TV show, but my attachment to book characters is much stronger). In fact, I can't think of a character I really liked (and there have been literal hundreds) whose sneeze I didn't fantasize about.

I rarely daydream about any other characters than my own. It's really inspiring and I know them very well. Granted, I have probably daydreamed about characters from other places too, but I can't remember having done it...uh... with any sort of concentration? I like to make up little stories, but when the character isn't mine, I often lost interest after those seconds it take to imagine a sneeze. *laugh* The few characters I have stayed with for longer in daydreams that aren't mine belong to people close to me. Some of them, I know pretty well too.

Yeah, thats me in a nutshell too. I actually find it quite hard to daydream about existing characters - I like to change things about them which I can only do if I have made them up to begin with. I did find it was easier to daydream about fictional characters when I was a bit younger - and ScotGirl... I am with you on Leeloo from The Fifth Element! :D

I most often daydream about my own characters but a few years ago I used to mostly daydream about Remus Lupin... Maws. And sometimes even Sirius, but only after reading one finnish fic where he and James caughed rather bad colds... Or was it after one where only Sirius caughed a cold... Doesn't matter.

So I do still come up with short stories and scenarios of other people's characters... Mostly characters from series that I've read/watched a lot so that I feel like I know even a little about the characters, though sometimes, if the original text has something that indicates to nice thigns, my might might just start wandering... x) The most recent timew that happened was when I was reading a finnish book Käsky and that one man (jäger Harjula) thinks he might be getting a fever... That made me stop reading and start thinking how a cold might suit that man... x3

I also like these.. non-human characters that look like humans (but have somekind of... "superhuman powers" or so..). I could maybe even say that they are the big thing or something... xD (Maybe in a few years I'll read this and think "LOL, how stypid can a girl be"...) Characters like vampires, "demons" (demons like Sebbyyyhhh)... Jasper Hale and Sebastian Michaelis might sometimes find their way to my daydreams. Rarely, though.

Also I don't mind the image of a sick dr. James Wilson or John Watson... *cough*

But yeah, other peoples characters I take rather in art and fiction than in my daydreams.

I have this thing, where I can only daydream about one fictional TV character at a time. Right now my TV boyfriend is Dean Winchester from SPN (the guy in my icon/banner.) He's a brilliant combo of tough and vulnerable. Idk, it's not the best show, but I'm nevertheless IN LOVE.

I love Supernatural and Jensen Ackles. The weird thing is that a lot of my original characters have appearances based off actors/pre-existing characters. It's sort of similar to the people who can't really daydream about characters that aren't their own. So when I see an actor/character I like, I alter and tweak them into my own character.

I mostly daydream about my own characters too, but there are a few "already existing" that I daydream about from time to time... Janeway from Star Trek: Voyager, and Kay Scarpetta from Patricia Cornwell's book series, mainly. :D

Even as a self-confessed sci-fi geek, I've never really thought much of Captain Janeway. Maybe it's the husky drawl and gravity-defying bouffant. Or maybe she just spends too much time standing next to Seven of Nine ;)

Well, I can only speak for myself, and I love that type of women.. and personally, I love husky voices. As for her hairdo, well, I love those scenes when it comes undone and I like to imagine that happening from a desperate sneezing fit... And, well, Seven never did anything for me. I can't stand her. So, yeah, it's Janeway all the way for me. ;)

I mostly daydream about John and Rodney from Stargate Atlantis(the two guys in my avatar picture). I'll mostly do this when trying to fall asleep at night or when waking up in the morning. A lot of the stories I imagine in my head are things that I would turn into fan fiction if I could actually focus enough to write them down and I actually was able to do this a couple of times in the past. Sometimes the stories I daydream about are fetish related and sometimes not. I just really like daydreaming about those characters and others from Stargate Atlantis and the situations I'd like to see them in.

Lately, I daydream about Shou and Johan from GX. Shou makes sense, he's my favorite character. Johan, not so much. I'm not really all that fond of him. But somehow, imagining him in fetishy situations is rather enjoyable. I'm almost starting to ship them because of this...which doesn't make much sense at all given canon. XD; But yeah, I daydream when I'm falling asleep, for the most part.

^What she said, basically.

Then again, I rarely daydream, uh, actively about fetishy things at all, however weird that may sound. I like to recall things that I've already read, seen or heard, but when it comes to spontanious, original daydreams created on spot, that little theatre inside my head is mostly used for other things than imagening characters sneezing. *laugh*

I love to fantasise about the original Sherlock Holmes. Also "Agent" Switters from Tom Robbins's wonderful novel Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates. And weirdly enough, Hamlet. :D

From various manga/anime my favourites are Aya and Youji from Weiss Kreuz, Goyjo and Sanzo from Saiyuki, and Vash the Stampede from Trigun. They make me happy when they're inside my head.

Characters from Kuroshitsuji seem to be my main interest lately. My three favorites (in said order) would be Sebastian, Ciel, and Grell. Yet I can't imagine Grell sneezing, so it's a fun experience for me.

That is precisely what I do, although Mckay and Sheppard have to share their time of fan fictioning with The Doctor (3,4,5,8,9,10 and 11) and companions (Adric, Rory etc.), chuck (occasionally Casey, Shore and Morgan), glee (Will, Finn, Kurt, Puck etc.) and other stargate people (Daniel, Jack, Jonah, Mitchell, Carson and Scott).

Not sure if thats all of them but I'm bored of typing now.

What PaperThings said. I'm the same way. Always reading, and when I'm not on here, I'm on Goodreads. Every good male character in a book! I much prefer thinking about book characters, rather than tv characters...then again, I prefer books to tv, sooo...

Professor Quirrell from the first Harry Potter book, though I love how he's portrayed in the movie, too. I know he turned out evil, but I always had a soft spot for that guy.

Also, do wrestlers count as fictional characters? I mean, they're real people playing a character a television, so... I'm just gonna say yes. CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler would be my top picks. They'd have two completely different styles about it, too. CM Punk I imagine would be extremely irritated and angry that he keeps sneezing. Ziggler would probably laugh after each one and either apologize with a smile or make a joke about it. Ahhhhh... :)

Edit: Oh, and how could I not say Captain Hook?? CAPTAIN HOOK!

There are plenty of female fictional characters that I would imaging sneezing. Daphne Blake and Ahsoka Tano come first in my mind of wanting to hear sneeze. Katara from "The Last Airbender" would be pretty high on my list also. There are others that I can't quite put in a finite order (Tea from Yu-Gi-Oh a must). The list keeps getting longer with each new show I watch.

I would have to say I'm constantly daydreaming about Severus Snape most often. Though I've lately started daydreaming about two of the characters from one of the book series I'm reading.

Currently, I can't get Sam Winchester from 'Supernatural' out of my mind, and I'm constantly daydreaming about him in all sorts of yummy H/C scenarios. Also thanks to the actor Jared Padalecki, I've recently been spending some time daydreaming about his character Dean Forester from 'Gilmore Girls too'. But mostly Sam. Oh how I love Sammy! :boom:

Before Sam, I was obsessed with Ianto Jones from 'Torchwood', various elves from Lord of the Rings, and Daniel Jackson from SG-1.

I've entertained an odd fantasy or two...Inuyasha. Edward Elric. Dean Winchester (omgggg do I want to see HIM sneeze. I think it'd probably kill me.) Sam Winchester. Dean Forester. Chase from House MD, Thirteen from House MD, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce from Angel, etc etc etc.

I read a lot, and there are certainly some fictional characters from those that I'd pay to see. L from Death Note being a prime example.
