retrofan191
Backstory!: In the Pokemon games I believe it says that pikachus electric generating ability is a bit unstable. It might accidentally shock you when it's startled or when it gets excited. That being said, It seems like a sneeze would be a dangerous thing for these creatures. So I came up with the idea, that pikachus are rigorously trained from birth to resist their sneeze reflex. Something normally impossible yes, but through very strict "mind over matter" type training from day one, they eventually be able to show a small amount of control over this reflex. this sequence, drawn by a friend of mine on Iscribble, displayed one of these "endurance tests". Thanks for sharing.I was considering getting panel 3 and 4 changed a little bit. they look a little off to me, what do you think?Off how exactly? I was thinking it was a little strange how the yellow pollen (or electricity?) was in front of Pikachu's face in the third panel. I thought it was like... snot or something. And his nostrils look closed up when they probably should be flaring more (unless he's trying to stop himself). The fourth one looks fine... but I guess his face could look a little more twisted up, especially after such a tortured-looking pre-sneeze expression. Link to comment
retrofan191
I thought maybe his nose was to big and flat looking in those panels maybe. and also his notrils were closed in that panel cause I thought it would help to show what a big sneeze is stuck up in there, haha Link to comment
Anonymouse
I don't think it looks too big. It looks like he kind of has his head tilted back so his nose would be a little more forward. And yeah I got that impression too. Oh, he's missing the little red cheeks in the fourth panel. Link to comment

It's hard not to when it's got so much detail in those close-ups. Still for me it's more cute than anything else. Link to comment
murphy dee
Haa, yeah it looks cute, and it's very well-drawn! Your friend is talented. The nose doesn't look too flat in those middle panels, it looks fine to me, so I dunno about getting it redone. It's always been my feeling that if you're paying for the art then you should definitely get what you've pay for, but if it's free then it's best to just enjoy the picture. Just my point of view.
