Great Morning

This morning, C woke up super early for an interview, and I drowsed in bed for a while. I heard him shower, then go out to the living room, and I heard him sneeze, a kind of muffled "Huh-ISHHuh!" And again. And again. I was definitely awake by the time he yanked open the bedroom door in time for me too see a 4th "Huh-IISSHHuhh!" I smiled sleepily at him, and he told me about how his allergies were bothering him again.

Driving to the interview, he began to sniffle as we turned into the parking lot. He sneezed 3 uncovered "Huh-ISHHoo!"s while trying to park, needing both hands on the while as he turned, and I just sat back and enjoyed the view

He was early, and we began to walk around outside to calm his nerves. He started to look sneezy again, and it wasn't long before another "Huh-ISHHuh!" was forthcoming, this time into a tissue he'd tucked into his pocket. He groaned a little and rubbed his nose, and I suggested we go to the grocery store and get him an antihistamine since he'd forgotten to take one before we left the house. He agreed, and sneezed another "Hah-ISHHuh!" into the tissue almost immediately. We got him the antihistamine--much as I love the idea of him trying desperately not to sneeze, it's not something I'd wish on him during an interview!--and it seemed to help

There have been a few singles since then, including one just a few minutes ago, uncovered, as he sat as his computer playing a video game, but the antihistamine seemed to clear it up.
