ME sneezing bf asking stupid questions

Allergy season is in FULL FORCE!

J (sort of kind of but not really boyfriend) and I went to visit a few manastaries today around the country with a few of our colleagues. We hadn't seen each other because we were busy over the holiday break learning all about this new culture we are living in, etc....

So anyway, it has been sunny and nice all week and everything is in bloom so I had been having random double sneezes but nothing overly irritating or noteworthy. However, today was the first day I had been outside for an extended period of time and there were flowers and trees and gardens EVERYWHERE!

As I've said before, I actually hate having my sneezes acknowledged. I'd rather just sneeze and move on with my life. However, with J, everything is a discussion or noticed or commented and he likes to go into details about things, and the WILDEST things come out of his mouth that i just can't handle him.

So whenever I felt like I had to sneeze (we were in a tour group for some of our time), I would stand away from him and muffle the sound of me sneezing although they weren't stifles because we all know they solve absolutely NOTHING!

However, we had just left the third of our four manastary tour and were back in the van, when I felt that itchy feeling in my nose again. I tried to sniffle and sneeze before getting into the van but it wouldn't come and it was time to go. As usual, J and i were sitting together and I start rubbing my nose because I could feel the sneezes building. being that this was our third manastary, my usual double was turning into sets of 4 or 5. HOwever, the rubbing was doing nothing either and I ended up sneezing twice off to the side: ITSCH-EW! ITSCH-EW!

I thought I had gotten lucky with merely a double but before I could catch my breath another set came bursting out of me, with more hitching (I was trying to fight it) "Huh-hih-Iiitschu! Huh-IPStCH! "

"Allergies bothering you?" J asks stopping in the middle of his manastary commentary.

"Su- huh-Ishoo! Sure." I sneezed midsentence (if you've heard my youtube videos this is not uncommon for me)

"What is it the pollen?" I seriously wanted to kill him. Why do we have to DISCUSS what is making me sneeze?

I start blowing my nose and I just shrug, which always irritates him, so he presses his nose against my cheek and asks me again in a deeper voice. "Was it the pollen?"

"Probably J, wtf?" I ask irritated but smiling.

He smirks as if winning a victory and backs away. "I thought so, you've been a little sneezy today." ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! LIKE what is WRONG With this kid? LET IT GO! So I say nothing, but sniffle and rub my nose gently.

"And by the way, Bless you babe."

I wanted so badly to ignore him, but there was a part of me that appreciated his attentiveness. So while looking out the window I managed a very quiet "thank you."

I know you guys think I'm crazy. I probably am...but seriously, J ALWAYS has a follow up question and I just can't handle it when it's about MY SNEEZING! UGH!
