When do you find yourself most active?

I think I've logged in at least a dozen times tonight. No particular reason, just antsy and nothing better to do (that I actually feel like doing). So I'm shuffling back and forth between facebook, random google searches and the forum. I don't feel particularly "fetishy", if anything, just looking for company.

Completely the opposite, for pretty much all of 2007 - 2010 I logged on very rarely and posted almost nothing. Nothing dramatic happened, I just didn't come on. I guess I was just too busy living my non-computer life, finishing off grad school, moving and starting to work. I definitely kept the fetish active in my imaginings and with my husband, just not here.

So, do any of you notice large swings in your involvement (as a reader or contributor)? What brings you here more, or keeps you away?

I've had a lot of big changes going on in my life for the past few years. Because of that, sometimes I find myself absent from the forum for longer than intended.

When I do come back, it can take me a while to get back into the swing of things. Even when I'm established and comfortable, sometimes I don't post a lot -- I find myself writing long responses to things and then thinking, "Nobody wants to read what I have to say. Why waste everyone's time?"

This community is fantastic and whether I'm in full-fetish-swing or not, they have always welcomed me and my neuroses. I couldn't be more grateful. Everyone here is the reason why I keep coming back after a long hiatus.

I've been coming here instinctively multiple times a day. When I open a new window/tab, my fingers immediately fly to the 'F' for facebook, 'G' for my college's website, or 'S' for this forum. Even when I don't feel fetishy I still come here to check out the new posts. I never thought I'd visit this place as regularly as I do now.

I feel that way too, rather often. From time to time, I ignore that feeling and post lots, and then I feel stupid for posting so much, so I sink back into quiet mode for some time.

I don't post as much as I perhaps did at one time but I visit here every day for various reasons. Usually to see what's new, often for a distraction from the crap that is real life right now and also for when i'm feeling very fetishy. I'm sure this will change when my personal life changes, if I became busier then I wouldn't have the time I do now.
