so i live in a motor home away from the main house where my parents are, and i'm laughing with joy about some wonderful observations, and all of a sudden my door opens and my dad walks in! (he soooo doesn't know, and it's doubtful he ever will) and he's brought me cheese. so i'm like 'yeah, okay thanks' while thinking to myself 'could you possibly knock next time??????' and then i go back to our fabulous forum and i'm looking at some stories and quoting some of the stories out loud, and then there's a knock at my door, and i'm like 'oh crap' and i go to answer and it's my dad again and this time he wants to give me this pot that he just washed, and to say he's sorry he didn't knock!! anyways its kinda random but i felt the need to share!

Hm, I'd be inclined to agree with Nicole. Lock up somehow!

Or perhaps you could mention something to him along the lines of the fact that you'd be mortified if he just barged in while you were getting changed... I know that my personal stuff was very "off-limits" to my dad at your age and he was careful enough to knock before entering because he really didn't want an eyeful of his daughter!
