Anonymouse
I was at the gym today (finally going regularly again after months of mono-induced exhaustion/spleen pain ) and as usual, I beelined straight for the handicapped stall in the bathroom. It's nice and spacious and has little ledges for me to put my stuff while I change. For some reason it annoys me when other people get in the stall next to mine, especially when there are twenty other stalls available, which is the case at our gym.A girl got in the stall next to mine, but now I'm glad she did! It sounded like she was changing too, but out of nowhere I hear "HehKEHoo! HehkEESHHiew!" It was loud because the bathroom is echoey and she was literally two feet away from me with nothing but a stall wall separating us. I was already blushing just because I was half-undressed and she probably was too, and for a split second I contemplated blessing her but it's so awkward talking to other people in the bathroom so I didn't say anything. And I wouldn't have had time to anyway; her breath hitched a couple of times and she sneezed again "HEHKSHOO!"I heard her groan and start pulling some toilet paper off the roll to blow her nose. I figured she was done but moments later I heard another delicate but audible build-up, followed by a smothered, desperate, wettish "Hggkishxiehh..." My spelling doesn't do it justice but it was the most perfect stifle I've ever heard in my entire life.By that point I was way too embarrassed to leave the stall, even though I had finished dressing. She got out of her stall and went to wash her hands. I heard a sharp breath and a loud "Hehkhoo!" As she was leaving the bathroom she sneezed once more, "HehSHhhoo!" and stopped in a random stall to grab more toilet paper.Best obs I've had in a while. Link to comment
Chanel_no5
Oooh, I love those observations, when you can hear everything and yet not reveal your interest by, say, blushing or intense sweating (like me... ) Great obs! Link to comment
Anonymouse
Oh believe me, I was blushing and pitting out like a mad woman (probably not that dramatic, but still). But I know what you mean. Thanks! Link to comment
Honkytonklagoon
Yes, you were quite the sneaky one, hidden and listening. And blushing. Awesome. Thanks for sharing it. Link to comment

NoV
Great Obs! Haven't witnessed a good obs like this in ages myself - where are all the spring allergy sneezers? Link to comment
Anonymouse
Great Obs! Haven't witnessed a good obs like this in ages myself - where are all the spring allergy sneezers? They're all over the place here. I was in the library before and every two minutes someone would sneeze, usually in multiples. Sadly most of the sneezes I hear on a daily basis sound generic and uninteresting to me, especially if they're just random people in the library or a classroom. I like to see the sneeze from start to finish, or at least be able to listen to it without a million other sounds going on. These were awesome because the girl was so close, so I could hear all the little details (build-up, etc.) that make sneezing delightful. Link to comment

Giant Steps
Brilliant obs!It must be quite nice having a half naked woman sneezing her head off only a couple of feet away from you. Especially if you hear every fluctuation of breath and so on, so that you can pretty much picture the sneeze as it's happening! Edited May 13, 2011 by Giant Steps Link to comment
