I have a friend who, whenever i'm with her, seems to constantly be rubbing her nose, running her finger under it, rubbing it hard and sniffling and my god I find it sooooo distracting!!! If we're in the middle of chatting when she does this I find it hard to keep eye contact with her as I feel as if she can tell exactly what my fetishy mind is thinking!!

Sometimes this nose rubbing leads to sneezes which is even better but mostly it's just intense nose rubbing.

Does anyone else find this incredibly distracting when someone doesn't seem able to leave their nose alone?!

Yes. Yes I do.

I never enjoy my friends sneezes, but I have to stop and look at them.

I find it very distracting.

I tend to find nose-rubbing even sexier than sneezing, so... yeah. *laugh* I find it very distracting when people do this. Especially if it's of the more intense kind, and accompanied by sniffling, like you've discribed here. Makes my brain shut down completely. :D

I was going to write my own post, but after that, I feel no need to add anything new. That's exactly my reaction. ^^

Ugh, yes. If it's someone i'm attracted to, i'm fine with it  . But if it's someone older, well... a woman in her mid 50's I know at my church has TERRIBLE hay fever. Last year during spring I rode with her home from church and, I seriously think that every 10 seconds she would rub her nose really roughly. The whole ride. It was not a very pleasant car ride for Grey.... :D Either way, it is quite distracting.

One of my coworkers touches his nose *all* the time, in big gestures like flipping the end of it up and down, etc. I find it gross and annoying. There are germs *everywhere* in the hospital he is possibly exposing himself to, and then adding to the pile if he doesn't watch his hands, which I think he often doesn't, because I don't think the face touching is really a conscious decision. :D

Oh, yes! Totally!!

If it's someone I could be attracted to then "distracting" is a really good word :winkkiss:. If it's someone I'm not attracted to or really, really, would never, ever want to see sneeze... then it's distracting in the oh-god-get-me-out-of-here kind of way.

Thanks for the replies everyone, i'm glad it's not just me! I forgot to add, yeah if it's someone I really don't want to see do that then I'm like nooooo stop it and get me out of here but otherwise it's just so damn distracting and a tiny voice in my brain is also going *sneeze* *sneeze* * sneeze* :winkkiss:

Oh yeah... well, not sexier than sneezing itself, but about as sexy anyway. Distracting, oh yes. I've been to four-hour-meetings that afterwards I can't recall the topics discussed, just because a certain very attractive person was rubbing her nose constantly. :winkkiss:

I am a HUGE fan of nose rubbing, and yes it's a major distraction for me! If someone I like is rubbing their nose a lot, I generally stare.

I think any kind of repeated gesturing or movement can be distracting and wearying. The same for someone who talks and talks and talks at you and has no plan to stop and let you say anything.

Depends on whether I find the idea of the person doing it, sneezing, attractive. If the answer to that is 'yes', nose rubbing can be distracting enough for me to lose complete track of the conversation. Usually don't allow myself to be quite that distracted though.

If the answer is no, then I've known the feeling of 'ew-no-please don't-do-that-get-me-out-of-here' to occur.

If I'm equal to the person sneezing or not, then I might just pay attention to tell you guys about it but otherwise don't find it particularly distracting.

Agreed, on both counts. If the individual is someone I am in no way attracted to, they might as well be talking about their last sexual encounter. No thanks.

My boyfriend, who I am very attracted to of course. is constantly rubbing at his nose and his eyes. I mean constantly, especially in the spring. I used to find it distracting when we first started dating, but now I'm so used to it I honestly don't even notice it anymore :blushing: Not that it bothers me or I don't enjoy it, it's just not a big deal.

But if it's someone I'm not around alot and I find attractive and I see them do it then oh yes, it is very distracting. I have a hard time keeping my current train of thought, and I always feel like there is a big flashing neon sign on my forehead that says 'Hey look at me, I have a sneezing fetish and you sneezing and rubbing your nose turns me on!' And at that point I usually end up blushing and start talking rather rapidly about something else. I probably make it a bit obvious, oh well. :blushing:

Heh, same here! :shy:
