Hm. No. I can't say there is any clear pattern to how my preferences change. Or that they change much at all. *laugh* I always prefer reading about men, always prefer looking at male art, and always prefer listening to female sound clips, with a few male ones tossed in here and there for good measure.

As for what gender I prefer outside a fetish context, I look at men at lot, but I'm more prone to fall for women.

Hmm, I don't think so. But then, I haven't really considered myself bi for very long. Mostly attracted to women, in either fetish or non-fetish situations, but I've only ever had relationships/canoodling with guys.

It changes day by day. Sometimes male stuff grosses me out and other times I love it. With female, it's a little more constant but sometimes I like it more than male, and sometimes it hardly does anything for me.

Yes, definitely. I'm in the middle of an unprecedented stretch of attraction to males right now. Other times they do nothing for me.

I find that I like more females, but I like males more. That is, I'm very very picky with my males, but once I found the right one, I prefer him over females. But I'm attracted to a lot of girls, much more so than guys. Both fetish-wise, and non-fetish.

I find that it does definitely tend to go in cycles; however, since I only noticed that recently, I'm trying to work out whether or not there's a specific pattern to it and, if there is, what that pattern might be. I wonder if maybe it's on a lunar cycle? *ponders*

In general I suppose I go through phases of being primarily attracted one way or another to some extent, but it's definitely nothing predictable the way you described. I'm pretty much always attracted to all of the above all of the time, but I do often lean somewhat more one way or another for a month or two maybe.

As far as the fetish goes though, my attraction has always remained pretty much the same. Female material doesn't generally do a whole lot for me and unless there's another element to the material that I really like I spend very little time on female material.

A close friend of mine used to be bisexual, but it would go in cycles of a year or more, and then it was one or the other, and he couldn't understand how he had felt the other attractive.

Fascinating what differences there can be.

I haven't noticed any particular cycles to my own preferences (I'm a bi girl), but I have often wondered if it does cycle. There's quite a lot of research showing that straight women are more attracted to conventionally "masculine" faces around the time they're ovulating, and less so at other times in their cycle - which makes me wonder if bi girls in general tend to get a little closer to the straight end of the spectrum around ovulation.

People over on the subreddit for bisexuals call it the "bi-cycle" and apparently it's quite common to cycle from preferring one gender over the other and then switching

For me, it cycles, but not regularly in any way. It's just... I'm PICKY AF about sounds, spellings, and scenarios, but if those are all spot-on, it doesn't matter whether it's a fic/wave/vid/obs about a female, male or other human being.

HOWEVER... when it comes to my own writing and fantasising, I limit myself strictly to men. I don't know why. Innate sublimated misandry...?

I only recently discovered my bisexuality, so I have not really noticed too much of a cycle yet, but I have noticed that once I accepted by bisexuality that my attraction to men and male sneezes have increased quite a bit while my attractions to females originally dropped but now seem to be rising as well!

I've definitely experienced "periods" where I would find myself more attracted to women than to men. It's definitely not clockwork and it's slowed down since I started dating my current S/O but it still happens from time to time (though obviously my attraction for men has been more predominant in the past few months )

I used to be super attracted to male sneezes, and like my boyfriend's sneezes get my attention, but the more I explored, the more I've found myself liking female sneezes. And it depends on the situation for the sneeze.

Hm I haven't noticed I cycle... I usually have a preference for male sneezing but every now and then I'll have a stretch where I'll only want female sneezing. Weird right?
