So really, I don't think allergy season can be anymore fucking annoying around here.

Allergy season hit with a vengeance here about a month and a half ago. It's been REALLY bad, like one of the worst ones I remember having...then again, every year I say it's the worst year ever. But I really do think my allergies are just truly getting worse. In any case, I woke up this morning with puffy eyes and actually couldn't wear my contacts. I've been wearing contacts for 15 years and never had to skip out on wearing them because of allergies.

I spent every minute of the day today feeling like garbage. :blushing: I was either rubbing my eyes, blowing my nose, sneezing, or at least feeling like I was going to sneeze. My patients probably thought I had the plague, and I don't blame them. And for as embarrassed as I am when I sneeze, it was a hundred times worse to do it when I was listening to people spill their guts out in therapy. That was awesome. Oh, and you know that I'm not sneezing once or twice. No. Every time it was my regular fit of seven sneezes, then three or four stragglers. And the first seven were always so fast I almost couldn't even compose myself. :P That sucked...I at least try to "sneeze pretty" if I can...:laugh: I don't want to look like I'm out of control. I'm afraid I may not have met the "sneeze pretty" goal today. Too fast and furious, though I at least kept them covered. Maybe I at least avoided a "sneeze ugly" scenario. And no mess, thank you Jesus!

Of note, I broke down and bought allergy medication for the first time since 2001. I don't take it because they all make me tired, but seriously...I can only sneeze so many times before I start to get irritated.

Darling, all of your sneezes are pretty. And I"m sorry that you are suffering, but damn just reading this and your texts is making me so hot. :P

Guh. :heart: That is so totally fiction-worthy and I would really like to have you as my therapist, please. :lol: I'm really sorry you're feeling so horrible, but that obs was so incredibly hot I must go and take a cold shower now... *melts*

Awwww...you girls are fab-yoo-luss!!! Thank you for being so sweet. :blush: Today I have the morning free (because I had to go to traffic court...whoops!) and had to skip writing outside in exchange for sitting side Starbucks. :( Pesky tree pollen.

Totally jealous of the people on this bored that actually got to hear you sneeze in person. :laugh: They sound wonderful. :) The "sneeze pretty" and "sneeze ugly" thing made me laugh.

(Also, I didn't know you were a therapist! :blush: That's awesome, I'm going to school for that. I might want to ask you questions about it in the future if you'd be okay with it. :lol::( )

And actually, I'm a psychiatrist and do med management three days a week, but I provide talk therapy two days a week! So not sure if you're going to school for exactly that, but I'd be happy to help in any way I can! :hug:

One question: When you say you can't wear your contacts, does that mean that you wear your glasses instead? That would be one more reason for me to enjoy your observation ... :hug:

One question: When you say you can't wear your contacts, does that mean that you wear your glasses instead? That would be one more reason for me to enjoy your observation ... :D
