Fever, bedriddenness, sweating, being referred to as 'sick'... all that jazz. That specific stuff hasn't been uploaded yet, but it's leading to it. Cause I also have school and its eternal wealth of homework at my disposal. My original thoughts were (SPOILER FOR SEASON TWO FINALE) going with what happens next, because Damon's recovery could be an sort of obvious way of bringing it about. But I mean, we definitely could just set something early on in the story, and sort of abandon what actually happens. Link to comment

(Elena has an entirely different personality, Jeremy I know doesn't exist in the books, Matt, Caroline and Vicki have all different relationships, etc. etc.)Edit: I have an idea! What if we did a thread of like Vampire Diaries Short Stories, and we can put in the description that they're based alternatively on the books and the TV show? Then, before each one, we can just mark which it is and when (generally speaking, we don't have to be specific) it's set. And we can just switch off posting them or something. I was really looking forward to co-writing, but I have friends who read the series and don't watch the show, and virtually every week we talk about how they're hardly the same thing at all. This'll be nice too, because we can update for people a lot without either of us having to constantly write new chapters. Plus, we can make fans of both happy . And yeah, definitely! Maybe an original story or something, or another fandom. Should we both try to write our first story this weekend? I can try to have mine done by Saturday. Link to comment

And it works with my schedule too.I think an original story would be a little more difficult for us to write cause we'll have the basic character outline but we'll each write them a little differently. We just sort of defined people's basic qualities but then let them develop. We didn't end up finishing it, but it was fun . Oh well, I'm sure we can find something to write together definitely!
