blower
At a friends wedding there was a woman in her early thirtys who had the most terrible cold. She sneezed wetly before taking a white lace handkerchief from her bag, putting it to her nose and started blowing very strongly and extremely wetly into the hankie. It only took a couple of blowsand I could clearly see her hankie was soaked. She openned her bag again and took out another white hankie and blew again just as wetly before she was satisfied her nose was clear.During the course of the day I saw and heard her blowing quite a few times and you can guess the state I was in - solid as a rock. Perhaps it is at wedding that most hankies are used in which case I look forward to attending many more!! Link to comment
