Waiting for a new person of interest to sneeze

I just read a thread in the Observations section about someone finally seeing their boy-of-interest sneeze for the first time, and how amazing and exciting it was.

And I'm thinking...I am still in that waiting period...the pre-first sneeze period...and it's so exciting, but I just SO want this person to SNEEZE, dammit!

He is actually the first person I've ever let hear me sneeze...we've never met though. We're only online...but I've sneezed on various audio recordings I've done, just talking and stuff. He's never SEEN me sneeze though. That may never happen. But maybe it will, who knows.

Anyway, so he knows I can be a bit sneezy...sensitive nose and all that...and I have been growing increasingly impatient to hear HIM sneeze (which also may never happen, I must acknowledge that rather sad fact), and last week I made a flippant, casual comment (or what appeared to be), in an email, after saying I was sneezy, that was something along the lines of "You probably never sneeze" or something. And later on he wrote back "Yes dear - I sneeze". AAAAHHH...that gave me flutters. Just knowing he DOES sneeze, that he SAID he sneezes and that he typed the WORD sneeze...

Now...SNEEZE, DAMN IT!!! lol

Anyone else in this phase of pre-first sneeze? Or remember what it was like to be?

Although I prefer female sneezes, I know exactly how you feel :blushing:

The anticipation of waiting for someone you want to sneeze to sneeze can be almost unbearable!

Heh, one time many years ago I was at my partner's house and she was asleep, and I was SO eager to get her to sneeze that I put this lavender scented bear she had right near her face...she didn't notice (being asleep, obviously), and I was hoping it'd make her sneeze. But then she woke up and was like, "What's this bear doing here!?" I had no explanation. lol I pretended to be half asleep. No sneezes were forthcoming either. FAIL!!! LOL

I had a crush on the guy I'm currently dating for, like, five years beforehand...and I didn't see him sneeze once. Ever. It was really frustrating, but in a way it added some mystery and intrigue to him. I think it's a small part of what kept me after him. I finally saw him sneeze for the first time about a month after we started dating, and I completely flipped out (inwardly) because it was so perfect and cute to me. It's so weird, because now I've seen him sneeze a bunch of times...and it's actually a reversed situation, because he's always like "HOW COME YOU NEVER SNEEZE?! I'VE NEVER SEEN YOU SNEEZE!" because of my mental block. Ohhhh, life.

I often go through this problem. It drives you crazy wondering if they'll have a good sneeze or not.

Oh dear, I'm so glad my partner (of 10 years) has never commented on how I never sneeze. Cause I don't think I've EVER sneezed in front of her this whole time! Mental block...hmm.

As far as the other person I am longing to hear sneeze, well, I'm still waiting...I imagine what he might sound like, just based on his voice...his style...the way he breathes...I've heard him have to clear his throat quite a bit, so that sort of...maybe it's connected somehow to the style of sneeze. I also wonder what he'd say after he sneezed, if he ever did...probably "Excuse me, dear" or something cute like that. :P

I had the exact same issue (pun intended) when i started seing the lady I currently live with in 2007.

When she did it at last, I found her to be a serial stifler. Sad news for a spraylover like me, but still as sexy as hell with the cute little "Pardon me" added.

I'm in kind of the same situation, although this person is no one I'm involved with in any romantic way... but she's very, very attractive, I'm around her a few times a week at least, and she seems to have seasonal allergies (red-rimmed, swollen, watery and bloodshot eyes, sniffly, seems worse in the mornings...) but so far no sneezing. It drives me up the wall. *sigh*

Sometimes when you picture your designated person in your mind sneezing in a certain way, reality can let you down. However, it is sooooo awesome when reality matches your imagination...

...or tops it. Not that it happens often, but it DOES happen..! :blushing:

Given what my general emotional state has been whenever I'm waiting for this to happen, I am fairly certain that it will eventually be the cause of my own death :blushing:

Oh, agreed in full. I daresay I might have to soon share a particular instance which was just as you described...

STILL waiting. lol

But he did the other day say in an email that he's a "good sneezer" and that he "doesn't hold back". Mmmm. lol. TORTURE!!! How much longer can I wait?! (he said those things because I was talking about this girl at my work who sneezes 20 times in a row each time and doesn't breathe in between, and I said maybe if she did breathe in deeply between each one, like most people do, she'd sneeze with more force and so require less than 20 sneezes to get out the irritation)

Yeah.

Yeah.

20 times??? How do I meet women like this?

Oh, lol, she's allergic to everything. Mainly dust. It's a shame cause her sneezes just do NOTHING for me for some reason. She's a really nice person though. It was actually her last day at my work on Friday. She's moved on to bigger and better things.

  • 2 months later...

Well, still nothing overly exciting to report about this person who STILL has not sneezed...

However, the other night I commented that I hadn't sneezed in a week (which was NOT true at all)...and I said that is kinda weird, and I said hey, but I guess everyone's different and then I asked him how often does he...you know, sneeze...trying to be OH SO casual...

And he said "a few times in the day...if something irritates"....SWOOOOOON! I was wondering if maybe he was someone who hardly ever sneezed or maybe only sneezed once a month or something (HEAVEN FORBID!!!!), but no...a few times a DAY...like, "a couple" tends to mean 2 or so...but "a few" tends to mean...3 or so...doesn't it? 3...a day...when something irritates...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

Alright, so I think I better lay off the sneeze discussions with this person, cause I may be becoming obvious...but I can't tell...I have had this fetish all my life so I honestly don't know what it's like to discuss sneezing on a fairly regular basis and in how much detail...

Anyway, so earlier today there was another discussion...I said I had been feeling in pre-sneeze mode all morning but nothing was happening and it was frustrating me and I just needed relief from it...so he said maybe try some black pepper. And I said nah, that doesn't do much for me. He said it does for him...when he cooks and uses it, often it'll make him sneeze...

So now I have THAT image in my head...I NEEEEED TO SEEEEE IT!!!!
