Meditation

So a couple of days a go I was doing this mediation with a group...I ended up not being able to concentrate for most of it, because of this guy. I have no physical description, as my eyes were closed (and it was sooooo damn hard not to look, but the instructor was watching) and I didn't want to look like a freak.

Anyway, the instructor told us to close our eyes and hold our palms on our thighs in an upward position. Then he started instructing us on breathing. In through the nose, out through the mouth. We did this a few times, and all of the sudden this guy sneezed. It was a pretty standard "hachoo!" Some people blessed him, and then the breathing continued. Less than a minute later, the same guy sneezed again, this time a double. At this point, my concentration was completely broken, and I struggled to keep myself from shifting uncomfortably. I tried to get back into it, and I started to, when this guy's breath hitched HUGELY, and then...no sneeze. BUT THEN HE KEPT DOING THAT. IT DROVE ME CRAZY. His breath would just hitch audibly, and then NOTHING WOULD HAPPEN.

I don't know if he had allergies or something, but breathing through his nose seemed to be a problem for him. Needless to say, I didn't meditate much.

I would not have been able to meditate at all. How did you make it through?

Hitching breaths drive me crazy! Inopportune moment to sneeze but very nice obs regardless.
