CarellFan
For anyone who has a crying fetish (like me) and is wondering what the heck happened to the crying fetish forum, I'm afraid I don't know, BUT the main page is still working and has been updated:http://www.cryingfetishforum.com I'm worried!!! Hope the forum is back up soon. Link to comment

cheech
I'm apart of this...but the last time i visited it was ages ago. it wasnt real active- i think it had only just started up.I've forgotten my username, password and everything (typical cheech!)Its a shame to hear this news about it disappearing or what ever happened to it. I really really wanted it to become well-running like this one. I would have had SO much fun there.I'm gonna check it out...but i really do hope it gets back and running! Link to comment
sneezes
i am also a member of that forum, and i hope to see it back up and running soon Link to comment
CarellFan
The main page has been updated again to announce that the forum has been irreversibly taken down by the forum host! From what I've heard, Proboards has refused to reinstate it and won't say why exactly. It's basically gone for good. Personally, I thought it was such a well-run forum with such well-mannered people and intelligent posts... Anyway, the old Yahoo crying group (which I posted about on here some time ago) has just been re-activated and is going to serve as the new headquarters for the group unless/until someone comes up with a better idea. At least people can post there and reconnect with each other! Any future announcements will be made there as well. Here is that link. You have to join the group to be able to view the posts: http://ca.groups.yahoo.com/group/crying_is_beautiful/If anyone knows how to find Punkchick, we were involved in a really great roleplay but I have no idea how to contact her! Wonder if she's a sneeze fetishist under a different nickname here? Anyone else lurking around here who was also a member of the forum? I can't believe it's gone. All those great posts... snuffle-bunny
I was also a member, it's a shame it's gone! At least the group still has a place to go for the moment. Link to comment
LovelyLinda
That's aweful I was a member of this forum, too.I hope they find a better solution, I don't want to join the Yahoo Group o.O Link to comment
PaperThings
I have to say, I'm not really a fan of the Yahoo Group, and now that the site is gone I am SO SAD. I just got... a million amazing obs. Two from celebrities (minor ones, haha, but they matter to me). And now I have nowhere to post them . Link to comment
CarellFan
I was told someone was working on one a while back, so definitely time to ask them for an update. Will let you know what happens either way. I've been frequenting the adult oriented crying fetish group myself (not going to post the link here 'cause it's adult), but I definitely miss the types of posts that we had on the old forum. If nothing has happened with the creation of a new one so far (after I check), then I wouldn't hold out much hope on that. Although it's pretty easy for anyone to set up and run a free crying fetish forum if they want to take some initiative. Just don't use Proboards!!! Can you post your million amazing obs right here? I mean, it's not like the other forum was very active anyway. There are probably as many crying and hurt/comfort and nose blowing fetishists here as there were over there. Maybe more! Link to comment
stevie_sloth
Wow, I had no idea so many of us here are also crying fetishists!I'm curious about this...I don't have the fetish, but certain parts of it I like. The sniffing mostly, or wet sniffly nose sounds, the wavering voice, sometimes if someone's crying quite a lot and lying on their back they might cough a little, which I like...it looks really pretty when tears just roll down cheeks, and the face is entirely wet all over the cheeks...hmm. I'd investigate that forum if it was still around. Shame it's not. Link to comment
CarellFan
Well, the update I heard is that someone did try to set up a new forum, but they ran into technical issues and might try again. Though I heard they want it to be age-restricted anyway. I'm still not holding my breath.I don't mind starting a Crying Observations thread here -- I just wish I actually had some good observations to share!!! Like with sneezing observations, it seems that I'm always out of luck on that part! But I want to hear yours, NarnieSmile!! Well, I did see a bride cry recently, but I'm only into male crying, so it was like... touching, but nothing more than that (for me). She fanned herself with her hand, though... if that's anybody's thing...stevie_sloth -- I don't have a coughing fetish, but the other day I was riding the bus and a girl (an attractive young blonde) was coughing so much that I actually decided to change seats! (I'm a germaphobe, mind you). She wasn't coughing at all at first, but partway through the ride, she started coughing... a forceful sort of cough (maybe medium wetness?) with about 10 to 15 seconds between fits. I waited for some sort of peak where it might start tapering off, but the end seemed nowhere in sight. It sounded like she was trying to control it a bit to be polite, but I think it probably just went on longer this way. Anyway, being the germaphobe that I am, I was so agitated that I decided I'd fake a reason to go up to the front of the bus (there were brochures up there) and I succeeded in getting a great distance away. cheech
A Crying Observation thread would be AMAZING. And a "Crying in the Media" Oh my gosh, now I want it back! There's a lot of celeb crying i've been looking for lately. Link to comment

CarellFan
I've just posted a Crying Obs (male) in the Related Fetishes > Related Fetishes Subforums > Obs, Stories and Artwork section.Thought I'd get the ball rolling! Link to comment
PaperThings
Yay! Wonderful. I may go and post mine, but this forum is so big I feel oddly self-conscious... I may try to set up a forum at some point. I have a little bit of experience with proboards - not enough that I could make great graphics or anything, but enough to do the basics. Link to comment
CarellFan
That's so funny, because I feel the opposite! On the old crying forum, there were so few people joining and posting that I felt self-conscious for having posted so much. It felt like I was talking too much or like I was keeping a personal blog... ugh! But here, there are so many other people posting every day that I feel like I'm just one of many, and in that sense, less self-conscious. The larger, more active group also makes me feel less like I'm talking to myself (which isn't the best feeling, lol), so the more, the merrier for me, I guess. But I understand your position on it too.Yay! Wonderful. I may go and post mine, but this forum is so big I feel oddly self-conscious... I may try to set up a forum at some point. CarellFan
Hey, to my surprise, things are suddenly moving -- there really will be a new forum after all!! I'll post the link when I'm told that it's ready to go! Link to comment

CarellFan
Wow, when I said things were moving quickly, I had no idea I'd be announcing the launch of the new forum on the same night... yep, it's ready!!! Here's the link: http://cryinglovers.boardhost.com/index.phpIt has a different owner than the last forum, but it's the same kind of thing. Which is right up my alley, of course. I'm soooo excited!!! Let's hope this one stays alive... and is kept lively with lots of posts! Link to comment
