Oolia
Sometimes, my care-taking fetish will just hit in random situation.Today, I had a routine yearly exam with my new (young and cute) doctor. I had a pretty bad cold about a month and half ago that lasted 2 weeks, and ever since then, I haven't been able to breathe through my nose and I've felt sinus pressure/pain. So I brought it up just in case he needed to take a look.So at first he tells me I can just do a saline flush, but he can prescribe a steroid nasal spray to help drain my sinuses (sorry, TMI). I hate taking medicine, so I said I'd take the saline flush and see if it works. But then, when I mention the pressure and pain, he frowns and says "Hmm... Let me take a look".He then proceeds to press gently on my sinuses with a slight concerned look on his face and asks if I feel pressure. I nod and he looks at me straight in the eyes and say, in the sweetest, caring voice I've ever heard from a stranger (and especially from a doctor):- I really want you to use the spray, I don't want you to get worse, ok?*melt*All I could do is blush and nod. I mean, I know it might not come across in my writing, but it's just the WAY he said it.Anyone else had that happen their doctor?! Edited July 26, 2011 by Endless_Sneeze Link to comment
Nicole
Oh my. That's incredibly hot!Something similar happened to me when I was in medical school. I was seeing my VEERRRY hot doctor because I had a cold that was lingering for like two weeks. He walked into the office as I was sneezing and said, with a concerned look on his face, "Oh dear...how are you?" And I laughed while wiping my nose with a tissue and said, "Fine." He was still looking at me with THAT LOOK and said, "Well, if 'fine' means stuffy noses and the sneezes..." All the while he has this concerned frown on his face, and I wanted to jump him. He then proceeded to bless me kindly, and it was over for me. I was done. (I should also note that we had a very flirty, innuendo-y kind of thing going on for like a year...he was also a professor of mine. Teehee. ) Oh, and this one here. This is a FUN thread. Love it! Oolia
Oh my gosh Nicole, I would have died! Now THAT is so hot, are you serious?! There is something so goddamn sexy and... smooshy (can't find a better word for it) about non-SO males looking so concerned for your health and so caring. I don't know what it is, but my god, it just... GFGKDJFGLKDJ. And the fact that it was a doctor just sealed the deal! Usually, doctors are so used to seeing little things like that, you don't expect them to fuss over you for a cold. But when they do... ARGH! It doesn't happen to me that often actually, even with closer friends. But I do remember, when I was single and in college, I had a friend that was a bit older than me, and we'd hang out at my apartment after his late night shift, just watching TV on my bed. One day, I had been feeling under the weather all day, and I told him. He didn't say much, but when I got up to grab a tissue and blow my nose, I guess he heard a bit of a gurgle, and when I came back to the bed, he frowned and said softly "aww, you really ARE getting sick, huh?" and then...HE PUT HIS HAND OVER MY FOREHEAD TO SEE IF I HAD A FEVER.I think he thought I did have a fever because my face became instantly super red and hot from him doing that Oh god. It's been like 6 years, and it still makes me all warm and tingly just thinking about it. Link to comment

Jorm
I already kind of want to jump my new doctor, if he got all caring and concerned about my having a cold I'm not sure I could restrain myself. What lovely, lovely moments you two got! Link to comment
Spoo
These are lovely stories! But as someone who fears the doctor - and quite severely at that - I don't think I could ever experience something so wonderful. Link to comment

Spoo
Maybe you just need a hot, young awesome doctor to change your mind! Hah! Maybe. I'm more afraid of the medical aspect, rather than the actual person. I have a somewhat hypochondriatic complex that something is going to be wrong with me, so I'm too preoccupied freaking out to pay attention to a sexy doctor. Link to comment

I'm a bit of a hypochondriac myself so I kind of see where you're coming from, but I've been doing much better on that front. NOT googling stuff helped a bunch, although I still do it something Hang in there! Link to comment

I don't know what it is, but my god, it just... GFGKDJFGLKDJ.Arghhh totally agree! Usually when I'm not ok I don't want anyone else to notice and I'll just hide away until I'm better, but deep down I can't resist this kind of thing. All this week I've had a bad cough, and my flatmate started off by joking around saying "Urgh, you're sick...stay away from me!" xD I kept telling him I was fine, which was basically true since I've had absolutely no other symptoms and haven't felt ill at all. But when I got home from work on Friday pretty tired and with hardly any voice left, he suddenly got all concerned and protective. He looked really worried and told me that I sounded worse and had to look after myself. He absolutely insisted that I take some medicine that he had, and later he texted me to see if I'd taken it and if I was any better. Even now he keeps asking if I'm ok, telling me to wrap up warm and checking if I need anything when he goes out. I don't fancy him one bit, but it's so cute and so out-of-character and it totally makes me squeeeeeee! Link to comment
elements
All of this is so. hott. I LOVE this thread! I switched Drs. and always preferred a female, but as I was very sick (this was last month and I posted about it, I believe) I had to find a Dr. ASAp. I picked a guy, and as it turned out his son was working that day. The guy brought me in his office and talked with me and was concerned at every deep cough. It WAS pretty hott. I sort of wished I was sneezy just to see a reaction! Then we moved into the exam room and the guy was just so thorough. I was melting with the gentleness of his touch, and the very calm, confident way he was dealing with my symptoms. Again, it is in the voice, the re-telling of this doesn't do justice, as you all say. At the end, he was like "I want you to take this, and call me on Friday." And I was like "k", cause Drs are usually to busy to answer their phones personally. And he was like "No. I really expect to hear from you on Friday, I want to know if you are feeling better or not." It was HOTTTTTT. Then I scratched my nose, and as my hand came up he said "What is that?" And I looked and sure enough the man had found the one bug bite I had on my finger from a day ago. And I said, "a bug bite" and he looks at me, and goes "let's make sure that is all that it is." Now, I may be a care taking (and being taken care of) whore, hahaha, but that was pretty amazing to me that he noticed that, took it into account when diagnosing me, and was just so thorough. I mean *melt* I LOVE observant Drs! YUMMM!Oh my. That's incredibly hot!Something similar happened to me when I was in medical school. doggo
Oh man how have I missed this. I honestly can't even imagine *anything* as heavenly as that sweet, serious, furrowed-brow expression of concern, made by a hot man. Link to comment
