Prongs
I have had band camp for the past two weeks in the grueling hot sun from 9:00-9:00. I've already written one observation about my super hot band director, and I would put a link to it here, but I'm a noob and don't know how. Mr. Director, I'll call him. Mr. Director has curly, short brown hair, is very tan, fairly tall, and in his midthirties. He was sitting in the stands with a microphone, telling us how we sounded from up there. When suddenly, he brings the mic down and releases a gorgeous double, "Hah'sheww! Hih'tshhh!" and a bunch of people yelled up there, "Bless you!" and he puts the mic up, sniffles, says, "Ah, thanks," and I almost turned into jello right there. Apparently there are a lot of sneezy people in the band, too! Maybe it was just the grass, or photic, but either way, yay for me, right?! This one freshman, P, is really annoying. He hasn't missed a day of school in three years, but is always coughing. He also sniffles every 10 seconds. But get this...it's a dry sniffle. Jeez, I can't stand that. He's also one of those people who are always blurting out random facts. "Did you know..." GRR! Kay, back to the point. P has brown spiky hair, is pretty average sized, has blue eyes, and plays the trombone. So we're in attendance block, and I'm already sweating because its hot. And I glance over to talk to my friend, who is beside P, and I looked up just in time to see P sneeze a double. "Kuh-huchhh!" I think they sounded like, and coughed once. Now, I apologize in advance, this is my first female obs, so I don't know how to describe it. There's this girl (with the same name as me, coincidentally, except she's like 16 or 17), who has short blonde wavy hair, loads of freckles, big, big blue eyes, and plays the same instrument I do. (Mellophone, if anyone cares). So I'm still in attendance block, and I just got done telling my friend, A, the thing I needed to tell her. I was just standing here, when I see the girl duck forward into cupped hands with a pretty-sounding, "Eh'chishhh!" A few people blessed her, too. This guy, C, also plays the mellophone. He has blonde, straight hair, blue eyes, is 16 or 17, and tall and thin. He's really funny, too, and so nice. I just met him, but I can already tell he's going to be a sneezy one. I heard about 13 sneezes from him in the past two days alone! This one time sticks in my mind the most. All the mellophones were in one room waiting for our teacher, and I had the perfect view when C put an elbow to his face and sneezed, "Hah'shoooo!" with the 'shoo' really long and drawn out. He sniffles a little, and this other guy, my section leader, J blessed him. It was so cute. There's also a different C who plays the mellophone. He's so adorable, it's not fair. He has strawberry blonde hair, brown eyes, a face of freckles, is really short and petite, and is about 15. This one was very ironic, because I had just been staring at him thinking about how I had never heard him sneeze before, when he slowly brings a hand up to his face, covers his mouth and nose, and sneezes once, "Heh'ktchh!" One of my favorites. <3I almost blessed him, which is rare, but then he started talking to the other C. One last C, I promise. This one also plays the mellophone, but he's super tall and thin, but very fit. He plays defy sport imaginable, I think. C has medium length black hair, brown eyes, somewhat tan, and he took off his shirt because it was so hot. But he yells at me a lot for doing drills bad And I had a bad experience with him when I was 10...he stepped on my finger with soccer cleats, and I will never forgive him. But this made me hate him less. He was standing there in the sun, practically glowing, when all of a sudden, he had this presneeze face, and bends forward at the waist with two, "Huh'chuh! HUH'chuh!" with spray, uncovered towards the ground.Yeah...maybe I can forgive him now...Ive been saving the best for last. My section leader I mentioned earlier, J, is very very attractive. He has sandy colored hair, sky blue eyes, is about 6'1, and is sooo funny! He's full of energy all the time, even when it's hot But today his allergies were bugging him. Well, we were standing after warm-ups, when his breath caught, and his head tilted back. He was right next to me, so I was observing very carefully, but not obviously. His head was tilted back and he had this absolutely helpless presneeze expression, and he sneezed, "Heh'tchhh!" followed by tons of wet sniffles. I felt so bad for him, he kept having to wipe his nose on his sleeve and rubbing his eyes tiredly. But not five minutes later, I witnessed the same thing! "Heh-tchhh!" almost identical to the first. By now he looked simply miserable. It was hot and I could see the sweat on the back of his neck and it was just so dang yummy! I feel guilty for taking pleasure in this. But another five minutes later, we were playing our instruments, and I saw him take it off his mouth, and sneeze once more, but I didn't hear it because we were playing. He started to play again, but he had to pause again to sneeze one last time, finally getting rid of the tickle bothering his poor sensitive nostrils. It was really hot, and I melted. More than once.
