YiffySneeze
I've noticed a lot of people coming down with stuff. I know I made a similar thread a while back, but I figured that one is probably long dead. I'm prepared to catch anything, and well aware that it could be really crappy. Even so, I LOVE getting sick. Anyway, things I have tried today and yesterday:I kissed a girl with a mild coldI swabbed practically a whole playground with a rolled up paper towel, then stuck it in my nose/mouth.Any other suggestions? I'm determined!-Yiffy Link to comment

YiffySneeze
Okay, so not too stuffy anymore. That's the bad news. However, my friend who I spent the night with (no, just friends!) just came down with a cold this morning. Meanwhile, I am running on only three hours of very light sleep. Not dating him, so can't kiss. I've been trying to get near him all day, breathe in his coughs, touch the things he touched, and maybe try to snag a drink from his if I can! I do want to be discrete .How else? I totally want his cold!-Yiffy Link to comment

LittleGoldfish6
Hahah! i love this thread! Good luck (i guess that seems a bit weird...cheering you on to get sick ) When you catch that cold send it my way please!! I need more sneezing in my life Link to comment
YiffySneeze
So far, no cold yet, but that'll probably take a few days. I did however sneeze a couple times when I got home from a party, but the sneezes hurt my arms for some reason...Unrelated, but I thought I'd share This is my second night spending most of the night up. I can't really get no sleep, but I can get very little and very light sleep, which should have a similar effect, since I am trying to avoid long REM sleep. I also had a beer earlier (I heard that alcohol is a bit of an immunosuppressant(sp?), but my stomach got upset when I ate a bit of cake, and I threw up Thankfully, my stomach feels a lot better now, and I did manage to keep the alcohol in me for a little while, at least. I don't know how long it takes for it to really suppress the immune system, but I'm hoping! I may have a beer or so tomorrow, depending. Just for good measure Not only this, but I didn't eat that much today. Being tired helps keep my apatite low, and I ate mostly junk. I do have to have some B vitamins, though via energy drink, since I can't stay up otherwise...I'll let you know what happens, my progress, what I am doing, and if I catch it!-Yiffy Link to comment

Went to bed at 5 A.M., and got up around 8. Before I went to sleep, I took a quick cold shower in a long night shirt, so that I'd be cold and wet. I also took some socks, and put a few ice cubes in each, and put them on for the brief night/morning sleep. I'm sooo exhausted at this point! My brain is starting to not function, only in a complete fog. I probably will have to get more sleep tonight or this may cause some unwanted problems...I will aim for five hours tonight. Usually when I catch a cold, I do only have a night or so of lack of sleep beforehand, then the rest of sleep either regular, or a little less than regular sleep (also before the cold). We'll see what happens. I'll keep you updated!-Yiffy Link to comment

As for myself, I think the cough may be my little bit of asthma acting up...Chest is tight when I cough. In fact, it's pretty tight in general.-Yiffy Edited August 1, 2011 by YiffySneeze Link to comment

YiffySneeze
Noooo! Now I have my period, which at first I thought was the reason for my horrible watery diarrhea. Now I'm wondering if I did catch a stomach bug instead. I want a cold! -Yiffy Link to comment
Stimuli
I think that diarrhea is caused by the intake of random bacteria you got from the playground haha Link to comment
