Bad cold

I haven't posted an observation in quite a while, I managed to catch what is turning out to be a pretty misserable cold. Itstsrted a few days ago with the typical scratchy throat and a few sneezes here and there. Thought, more like hoped, it would be gone by the weekend but of course no such luck. My last few colds have been fairly mild...just a few random sneezes and more stuffy than anything else lastingonly two, maybe three days max. But this is now day four and my symptoms show no signs of letting up anything soon. I woke up this morning with the typical "I cart breathe through by dose" feeling. Of course with in 15 minutes of getting out of bed I had already sneezed at least five times.

Now...while I find colds in others very attractive...I hate having a cold myself, unless I were to have someone take care of me who enjoyed it (which to date) has yet to happen to me . With that said...I love how it feels to let out those first few morning sneezes when I have a cold. My body trying to rid itself if the congestion that has built up over night ( sorry if this is gross to some of you). At least for me...those first morning sneezes seem to be extra tickly, desperate and of course rather messy (again sorry). Obviously alone in the morning I feel as though I can just let the sneezes come out as they must with an explosion so satisfying (not sexually).

While i may be unprepared for the first sneeze...it is almost always followed by several others which gives me a few moments to get to tissues and hold them waiting to just sneeze and sneeze into.

As for now...I'm completely congested. My nose is sore and I feel like I'm blowing my nose every five minutes or so.

Anyway...that's it for now. I'm sure I can update this later as it appears there will be plenty of sneezes to tell you about.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. So as promised here's an update to this awful headcold...or should I say "dose code". That's about how I sound. Nothing is really helping. Thank god it's mostly in my nose and not giving me a pounding headache. I do still have a scratchy throat. The sneezing has been pretty constant through out the day. I've sneezed at least 30 times since my initial post. All wet tickly and desperate, with as many as possible caught in tissues. I guess they sound like Hehh ehhh HUHHISSHOOO! I have been sneezing I'm doubles with about a 5-10 second pause in between to build up for the next sneeze.

I had to get a few things accomplished today bedew the start of he workweek tomorrow so I was out and about for a fee hours which was just torchure. I don't love sneezing in public especially with a cold that everyone can see. Makes blame feel too vulnerable but I had to do what I had to do. I managed to get through the public display with only a few sneezes which I kept as quiet as a could. I shoved a wad of tissues in my pocket and used them all by the time I got home. When I finally walked in the door I let loose with a volley of sneezy sets of two. All wet, desperate and both openly and into tissues. Omg...it felt so good to just SNEEZE as I am supposed too.

Tonight should be fun...can't wait to just grab a box of tissues, lay in bed and sneeze and blow this cold out of me.

well thanks everyone for their well wishes. I feel MUCH better today than i have over the last several days. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on your view point) I am still sneezing A LOT. For the most part though the severe stufiness is relegated to the early morning and at night before i go to bed. i hate taking meds when i sleep becuase it makes me feel all groggy the next morning so i just deal. I feel like every itchy desperate sneeze is a reminder of just how bad a cold this has been.

My nose remains red and sore from all the blowing, wiping, sneezing and over all cold yuckiness. Its time for me to pass this on LOL. Any takers?

Latter-yes I have some on bondi's page but haven't made any public wavs in quite a while.

Still sneezing here and there but feeling better every day. Now if my nose would quit running maybe it will go back to it's normal color

I have listened to your waves on bondi and you're a great sneezer I so happen to be into messy sneezes.

I'm sorry you weren't feeling well you must have felt awful and embarrassed in public. I particularly don't like sneezing in public myself. Allergies or a cold, my nose will find a way to torture me. Anyway I'm glad to hear you are doing better and keep those tissues handy. Need anymore? Just ask
