Prongs
It has been confirmed. I'm sick. My nearly perfect immune system has finally failed.I woke up this morning and noticed I couldn't breathe out one nostril. I got up to get dressed, and once I was ready I went to the bathroom and blew my nose. I hadn't done that in so long! Once my nose was clear, I tried to take a deep breath through it, but it began to tickle uncontrollably. It wasn't quite enough to sneeze, but I had this really stupid expression on my face, so I looked up into the light and, "Ah, et'chuuu!" sneezed a single into a tissue. I blew my nose again and thought it was just a fluke. Wrong! I was walking down my hallway when I coughed twice. And as soon as I did, not even exaggerating, I thought, Nooooooo! I hate being sick so much, and that confirmed it.I also sneezed today in gym, "Huh'pxt!" A new friend of mine (just met him last week, it's only my second week of school), K, witnessed it and said very pleasantly, "Bless you, E," and I replied back in the same voice, "Thank you, K!"After gym, I started feeling hot and cold and shaky at the same time. Fever? Nah, I ran a mile in gym, and since then I've been achy. And I thought I was coughing because I was out of breath, but that's not the case.Im still shocked at how much I have sneezed today. I think today alone has been more than in the past 2 years! (Like I said, nearly perfect immune system). Now I'm trying to go to bed but I'm so congested that I can't breathe when I lay down. make it go awayyy Link to comment

Prongs
Thank you, zneeze! I'm still going to school, no way I'm going to let my mom take care of me! My little brother has it too now, so along with my own torture, I now have to deal with family sneezes. Yuck! I suppose it's what I get for getting him sick. I am actually pretty pleased now, because this cold has settled in my nose. Usually I get this disgusting chest cold that leaves me coughing and gasping for air, and with a headache that makes me wish I were dead. So yay! Kinda.I do have something really strange that happened today. Well, I hadn't felt sneezy all day, just really congested with a slight tickle in the back of my nose. I was in my last class of the day, and it was the last 5 minutes, so the teacher let us talk and stuff. I was working on some homework for another class instead (me = nerd). When a group of cool guys was going through a girl's backpack and found a bottle of perfume. He's one of the popular, preppy guys who think it's funny to smell like a girl, so he goes really loud, "Does anyone have allergies?" No one said anything, so he sprayed the bottle 4 times on himself.I don't have allergies. But as soon as he sprayed the bottle, I felt the most intense burning, itching sensation in my nose. I immediately held my breath, in fear of sneezing. I didn't want to sneeze because one, he would think I was lying about not having allergies, and two, it's just embarrassing. My eyes teared up and I'm pretty sure my face was red. As soon as the bell rang, I was out of there. I was still trying my hardest not to sneeze, speedwalking down the hallway until I got to the place where my friend said she'd meet me. The second I saw her, I relaxed. I took a full breath, and right as she said "Hey," I was launched into the first sneezing fit I'd ever had! "Heh'tchoo! Heh'chuh! Chuh! Tchhh! Ah'shhh!" I sneezed 11 total times in a row! Each one was wet and desperate, and they were all different sounding. It was a first for me, because usually I don't sneeze ever! Especially in public, because of my mental block. By then, there were tears streaming down my face, and my friend led me to the bathroom to catch my breath. She's the greatest Nothing eventful happened except we went home and I did my homework. I took a shower just now so some of my congestion has cleared up, but I feel like I've been hit by a train repeatedly. I'm so sore! But I guess it's worth it!If anyone wants a visual description of me (though I'm sure no one cares), I'm 5'4, fairly thin, very tan, have brown wavy hair to about mid-back, have blue/green eyes, and a longish nose that is rounded on the end and slightly upturned. High on Lullabies
Just a quick reminder to everyone about requesting other members record their sneezes. Firstly, requesting/suggesting it is okay, but please keep such requests to a minimum. No-one should feel pressured to record their sneezes if they don't want to or don't feel comfortable doing so. If you make such a request be prepared for it to be turned down or ignored entirely! Secondly, please be aware that underage audio/video recordings of sneezes are not permitted on the forum and this includes our underage members. Requesting/suggesting that they make such recordings will result in the request being removed and the member asking being warned. This is for the protection of both our underage members and the forum as a whole. Thank you for your co-operation! Link to comment
zneeze
Thank you, zneeze! I'm still going to school, no way I'm going to let my mom take care of me! Oh, gotcha! Yeah, I wouldn't want that either Congratulations on your first-ever fit! That's an exciting time in one's life You said you aren't allergic to perfume normally, so I guess your cold made your nose hyper-sensitive to it? Anyway, very nice obs Thanks for sharing and bless you eleven times! I was working on some homework for another class instead (me = nerd).Haha I do that all the time too! If anyone wants a visual description of me (though I'm sure no one cares)Why wouldn't we? I certainly don't mind, and I'm sure others appreciate it too Link to comment
