Sneezing caused by helium

I first noticed this at my 12th birthday party. My friend was inhaling helium from a balloon to make his voice sound squeaky and funny. But every single time he did this he would sneeze for several minutes after. This friend was pretty sneezy in general, if he was around a cat he could sneeze up to 30 times in a row. But this was the first time I had ever seen someone sneezing from helium in a balloon. Then just a few years ago the same guy tried doing it again and he had the exact same reaction! Every single time he inhaled the helium he started having a sneezing attack. Has anyone else experienced this type of helium allergy? I am tempted to have everyone at my next birthday party start inhaling helium just to see how many of them start sneezing.

Ha ha ha that would be so cool! Sadly haven't ever witnessed this. The sneezes must sound pretty amusing too (if they happen soon enough after the inhale)

I just did a search on Youtube to see if I could find anything related to this subject. I did find this audio recording of ProfessorS1. The video title is "helium sneezing". Makes me wonder if this guy has the same helium type allergy.
