So this is the story that came from the idea I posted a couple of days ago. Just a short part to begin with but I will update soon, I promise! Havent quite decided how slashy its gonna get yet... I guess time will tell! I hope you guys enjoy.

Part 1:-

Dean Winchester did not sneeze. He did not get sick, he had no allergies and on the extremely rare occasion a sneeze crept up on him he was able to stifle it so subtly and silently that only his younger brother could ever really tell. He was not a sneezy guy. The aforementioned little brother on the other hand... well that was another story.

Dean hadn't thought about Sammy's allergies in a long time until one day pretty soon after Sam had joined up with him again he came back from the library, his eyes red rimmed and watery and clutching a wad of napkins in his hand.

"Dude you been watching 'The Notebook,' again?" he joked, not wanting to make a chick flick moment out of it if Sammy really had been crying. Sam just glared at him and said thickly, "Doe. Stupid library was dusty thad's all." And he wrenched to the side with a loud "HASCHOO!", making Dean jump in surprise.

"Jeez Sammy..." he began but Sam held up an index finger, signalling him to wait as his eyelids fluttered and he brought his fist up to his twitching nose. "HASCHOO! Huh...HUSCHOO!" He sighed wearily and blew his nose for what felt like the millionth time.

Dean had almost jumped again at the earsplitting sneezes which reverberated round the tiny motel room. He had almost forgotten his brother's inability to keep his sneezes quiet or controlled. He had also almost forgotten how it used to make him feel... of all the shameful childhood secrets he had kept, that one was tucked right at the back of his subconscious. However, now that it was suddenly happening right in front of him once again, Dean could tell nothing had changed.

Sam was looking at him through his blurry eyes, apparently waiting for him to say something. Still recovering from the return of 20 years of suppressed memories, for a minute Dean found himself tongue-tied but fought against his growing embarrassment and managed to control his voice as he said " gesundheit," and grinned at his little brother, covering his feelings with bravado as always. Sam just sighed. "Damn allergies. They'be beed driving be crazy all day."

"Don't you have any pills?" Dean asked, still trying to sound normal.

"Ran out...HASCHOO! Rad out a couble of days ago," said Sam, blowing his nose again tiredly. "I'be gonna have a shower, maybe thad'll help." And he went into the bathroom leaving Dean to deal with the tangled emotions his display had brought to the surface.

I'm so glad to see you started this! I never commented on your 'idea' thread but I agree with everyone that it sounds awesome. (And the world can never have enough allergic Sammy. ) I especially like the idea of Sammy being all whiny and having no idea how much he's torturing his brother.

I love how shocked Dean is here, all of his hard-won repression just getting blasted out of the water... and Sam just sneezing and oblivious, haha. So delicious. Great start and I cannot wait for the next part!

(Also, the title - Within Temptation? Niiice. )

The idea that when Dean sneezes he's so sneaky that only Sam, his biggest fan and closest observer, can tell is SO HOT. As is the idea of flustered horny sneezekink Dean! YAY for this!

Thanks for the comments. This next part is a flashback. Dean is 12 and Sam is 8. I hope you enjoy!

Dean could remember the first time he had encountered Sammy's allergies as clearly as if it was happening again right in front of him.

1991

Dean was waiting for Sammy at the school gate, pacing back and forth, impatient to get away from the place that meant nothing but a prison to him. He couldn't understand Sammy's love for school. But then, the kid had always been weird. Personally Dean couldn't wait until he was old enough to escape and help his dad hunt monsters. If it was up to Sam he'd be at school till his old age.

Sam finally emerged his head bowed, looking miserable. Dean immediately clenched his fists in anticipation of having to teach some bullies a lesson. As Sam got closer his red rimmed eyes and runny nose seemed to confirm Dean's theory.

"Sammy? What happened?" he asked sharply. "Who's been messing with you?"

"No-one Deand I'be fine," Sam said, sniffling and rubbing his itchy eyes and nose.

Dean raised an eyebrow in disbelief but didn't press the subject. As they started walking to the motel, Sam was uncharacteristically quiet, except for his constant sniffling.

Dean was lost in thoughts of their father, off on another hunt, when Sam suddenly stopped and sneezed into his cupped hands. "Heschuh! Heschuh!"

"Gesundheit Sammy," Dean said absently.

"Th...thanks... heh...heschuh! HesCHUH! Huh... huhESCHUH!" Sam sneezed wearily and sighed, but before he could say any more another trio of sneezes crept up on him. "Huh...huheschuh! HESCHUH! HESCHUH!" The kid was almost bent double with the force of the sneezes.

Dean looked at him in surprise. He had never heard Sam sneeze so loudly or so much before. His stomach did an uncomfortable flip as he watched his brother and a weird feeling came over him, a mixture of embarrassment and something else Dean didn't quite know how to identify.

All the while Sam was struggling to control the sneezing fit that had seized him. Eventually he managed to pause for breath, his eyes streaming with allergic tears, his nose still full of tickles. Dean realised he should probably say something, and had to clear his throat a couple of times. "Jeez Sammy, don't hurt yourself," he joked nervously. "What's up with you?" Sam sighed, his sneezes under control for the moment. "Dunno," he said through his completely blocked nose. "I'be beed like this all day. Guess I habe allergies. I thingk id's the flowers." It was springtime and there were fields and gardens full of flowers all around this town. "I'll say," said Dean, still trying to sound unfazed although his stomach felt full of knots. Seeing that Sam had made a bit of a mess of himself and was looking fairly pathetic at that moment, he took pity on him and said, "come on lets go to the pharmacy. You could use some supplies."

He lost count of the number of times Sammy sneezed on the way home.

Thanks everyone... your comments have been so nice! We're back in 2005 now... Warning... things are getting a bit slashy.

Sam was driving Dean crazy. Not only was he sneezing constantly, he wouldn't stop moaning about it. It was all Dean could do to keep the Impala in the right lane. All his energy was going into not jumping Sam right then and there.

"HASCHOOO!" Sam's head snapped forward with his hundredth sneeze of the day. "Oh man... huh..huh...huhASCHOOO!" He blew his nose loudly before burying another huge sneeze into his tissues. "HESCHUMPH!"

Dean couldn't even bring himself to respond. He had long since realised what that "funny feeling" he had whenever Sam sneezed was, and although they had done things that brothers really weren't supposed to think about let alone do since Sam had rejoined him on the hunt, they hadn't quite progressed to talking about it yet. Dean certainly wasn't gonna start spilling all his dirty little secrets.

Out of the corner of his eye he could see Sammy's nose twitching and his eyelashes fluttering in anticipation of another sneeze. "Huh.. huh... huuuh..." he exhaled shakily. "Damn...won't co...come...huh...huh...Goddamnit."

Dean couldn't agree more. The Impala swerved dangerously as he turned to watch Sam struggle with the sneeze that never seemed to want to come to fruition. "God... n...need to sn...huh...sneeze so baaaad... huh...huh...huhASCHOOO! HASCHOOO! Heh.. hehASCHOOO! HASCHOOO! Man, I thought id was never gonna happen there." Sam sighed with relief, as did Dean who had thought for minute he was gonna explode. Thank God they were nearing a motel. Dean quickly pulled in, muttered something about going to get food, and practically ran to the cafe across the street, leaving Sammy to sort out checking in.

When he got to their room with coffee and food he found Sam sitting at his laptop a familiar sneezy expression on his face. Suddenly Dean couldn't help himself anymore and pulled Sam to him, crushing his lips against his brother's urgently. "Mmmm..." he moaned, his pent up frustration from the day slowly ebbing away. Sam, surprised at Dean's lack of restraint, responded in kind, pressing his body against Dean's and kissing him back fiercely. However, it wasn't long before he wrenched to the side with 2 sneezes. "Haschoo! HASCHOOO! Man." He sighed, then quickly brought his fist up to his nose, stifling an unexpected third sneeze. "HESCH!"

"Damn Sammy," Dean whispered, and pushed him on to the bed, covering him with kisses. He knew what he needed and he needed it now, regardless of the consequences.

Sam was very confused at this sudden turn of events. How could Dean possibly find him sexy like this? But before his thoughts could go much further, Dean was doing things that banished them all from his mind and all he could do was lie back and enjoy.

I was really glad to see you write the next chapter, but I'm a little disappointed with the turn of events in the story. I'm not a big fan of the slash stuff, but I enjoyed the other chapters!
