Guest moldycookie
I haven't told anyone, but I truly find asthma attacks arousing. The hyperventilating and the facial expressions really turn me on. Does anyone else have this fetish?     Link to comment
Anonymouse
I don't get turned on, but I do like the hurt/comfort aspect of it (only in fiction though - in real life I'd probably get anxious if I witnessed someone having difficulty breathing). Link to comment
stevie_sloth
Hmm. I get stressed out whenever I see someone having an actual proper asthma ATTACK. I don't like that at all, but I DO kinda like (and it's associated with my cough fetish / slight breathing in general fetish) hearing someone wheezing a little, and more so, with obvious congestion in their lungs. Guest DarkBloodyRose
Oh, I definitely do, but that could just be the sadist in me. ^^UMy boyfriend of just almost a year now (8D I'm excited about that) has pretty severe asthma, and has to have an inhaler on him at all times. He knows I enjoy his asthma though, so he'll often go longer periods of time without using his inhaler just so I can listen to him wheeze as long as he isn't in serious pain. I like to jokingly tell him he sounds like a squeaky toy, or squeeze him like one. XD But like someone else said, I can understand why someone else having trouble breathing would be scary too. I have asthma, but definitely not to the extent he does, and I don't wheeze either. And sometimes if he sounds worse than usual, even if he's doing it for my personal amusement, I find myself asking, 'Are you sure you're alright?' at least three or four times. So he insists he knows exactly how his lungs function and he laid it out for me in stages; a stage one attack is light whistling noises or light wheezing where his lung aren't actually having a problem, there's just fluid in some place that causes the noises when he breathes, he kind of does that 98% of the time, haha. Stage two is where the airways are beginning to get tight and wheezing is a bit more constant but it doesn't hurt and he can control it by breathing more shallowly, we try to keep it at that. Stage three is where the airways continue to get tight and it gets harder to breathe, and it's beyond his control, and it'll turn into a stage four if he doesn't take his inhaler within a few minutes. And stage four is just literally gasping for breath, which he showed me a few night ago for reference, and it's scary because if he doesn't take his inhaler right away he'll pass out within a few minutes (which he almost did ._.). If we stay within the first two stages or in the third only for a few minutes, he insists I don't have any reason to worry, so...The only time it's awkward is when we go to the anime club that my boyfriend is VP of (and I'm secretary of) on Wednesdays and our friends are like, 'Dude, you're squeaking.' and he'll be like casually, 'I know, I have asthma. And...?' and sort of give me this 'look' while the rest of the guys tease him about it. Generally I ignore it, or occasionally I'll respond with, 'Aw, but it's cute.' and the rest of the guys will just drop it. It's weird because I'd rather not explain to the rest of the guys (our club is almost all guys other than me) that he's doing it intentionally. ^^U Link to comment
Brooklyn_Italian_BBW
I have asthma, and wheeze something awful when I have a cold. During cold season, my inhaler is my constant companion. Link to comment
Coffee Mug
I have an asthma fetish too but I only enjoy it when I play "stories" in my head. I wouldn't like it at all to see a real asthma attack, it would scare the crap out of me.A slight wheezing or using an inhaler would be fair enough. My ex boyfriend had asthma and always carried around his inhalers all the time. I've seen him use them only twice I think (in the whole year we were together) but I remember I used to ask him how his asthma was and if he did have to use the inhaler and I enjoyed listening to him telling about his asthma and playing the images in my mind but that's it. I think it's cute and I love the care taking aspect of it but I thinik it's not sexual for me. Link to comment
AltoFairy
I find myself attracted to asthma, but that may be because I HAVE it, and if I find someone else that does, we'd have something in common... An old boyfriend of mine had asthma but always tried to push himself really hard to make his lungs stronger, which in turn left him rather raspy and low on air all the time. Not really direct asthma, but the way he could never breathe was one of his many attractive points. Link to comment
Dusty15
Definitely. While severe, life-threatening asthma is not a turn on, I'm definitely into controllable asthma. I love the image of a guy's chest straining for air and the wheezing and chesty coughs. Allergic asthma coupled with allergic rhinitis is super super attractive. Link to comment
sneezedreamer
Nope. I mean, I do sort of see the similarities between an asthma fetish and a sneezing fetish, but I don't have any sexual interest in asthma at all. I wouldn't refuse to date someone who had asthma, or anything like that, but in my case, it's actually a turn-off (sort of like how a lot of people here are majorly turned off by seeing snot, I guess).Asthma attacks seem scary to me. I'm normally cool with playing nurse, but the idea of someone not being able to breathe/having difficulty breathing would make me very nervous in real life, and I can't even find it sexy or cute in fiction. Coffee Mug
A couple of weeks ago I met a guy, blond, quite tall, brown eyes, quite attractive, half Swiss half English (so like me haha) and we were walking on a steep street and I noticed he began walking more slowly and his breathing was unsteady. I asked him if everything was all right and he asked me if we could stop for a minute because his asthma was acting up and then he had to use his inhaler. I was worried and amused at the same time. I knew it wasn't life threatening so I left myself enjoy the moment and he was ok after he used the inhaler so we just continued walking a little bit slower. cute! Link to comment
