Purple
So, have any of you ever tried lucid dreaming (dream control)? It requires some training and a bit of practice, but OH MY GOODNESS...Whatever you can imagine, you can dream. (Think - you can basically create a movie with your favorite actor/actress... plus...with a fetish-y imagination...) I had my first successful lucid dream last night...I was in control...It. Was. Beautiful. Purple recommends you ALL should learn this! Link to comment
JenJen
Lucky!!!I can tell when I'm dreaming probably about 90% of the time, but when I try to control things everything goes wrong. If I start thinking that I don't want something bad to happen, something bad happens almost instantly. "It would be great if nobody finds me hiding here" - oh, well here comes a monster! It sucks. Jorm
At least half of my dreams used to be lucid ones without my even trying. These days it's much rarer for some reason, though it does still happen. I think perhaps it was a medication side affect in part. I've never been able to fully create the scenario of a dream, but once I was in a scenario I had a lot of control over it and I've definitely put it to good use on occasion Link to comment
musictomyeyes
i went through a phase like 4 years ago where i was like really into interpreting dreams and lucid dreaming and stuff, but i've never been successful. i only got as far as recalling each phase of my dreams and keeping a dream diary, but now i rarely even remember my dreams in the morning. no lucid dreams for me.. I can only remember my dreams about maybe once or twice per week, but I don't think I've ever come close to controlling them. It's just whatever happens, happens! haha Link to comment
Purple
Que sera, sera indeed! I have a very bizarre memory system - I've actually baffled medical professionals in the past! - so I remember just about all of my dreams (in addition to remembering being six months old!) That supposedly helps the process of lucid dreaming, so you could at I have a bit of an advantage because of that!It really does take practice. If any of you are more interested I am happy to link you with some articles and whatnot! Link to comment
Prongs
WHAT! Aw man, I wish that was possible for my brain. My brain has a strange way of doing things, so in my dreams, everything is against me and nothing goes the way I thought it would. But I dont remember them most of the time anyway, so But if I could do that...oh man. Link to comment
thesneeze123
I heard that while you are awake that if you sometimes randomly pinch yourself during the day and ask yourself 'Am I dreaming?' you can train yourself to lucid dream. Hopefully I will be able to lucid dream soon Link to comment
Anonymouse
Occasionally I'll get really enthusiastic about trying to learn how to do this. I'll search for articles and read the same exact tips - do frequent reality checks, keep a dream diary, etc. - and I'll try for a night or two. Then nothing happens and I get discouraged so I give up. I might try again though. I've been putting more entries into my dream journal lately because I'm on medication that's been making me have insane dreams and I want to remember them. Maybe that will help. Link to comment
wannablessedbe
haha, it's funny that this topic came up here, because I've been doing this since I was a little kid! not intentionally-- I've never "trained" myself to have lucid dreams and I wouldn't even know how to begin doing so; but sometimes it just happens naturally. and when it does, there are only two things that I choose to do: fly, or make someone sneeze for me. both are awesome! of course, when I wake up from a flying dream, it's like, "oh, okay, that was fun." but when I wake up from a sneezing dream, I'm usually all hot and bothered-- is this what guys feel like when they have wet dreams? lolgasm! ;p Link to comment
alias
I have had frequent lucid dreams since I was a kid, but i still have trouble controlling what happens even if I know I'm dreaming. Often times I try to make people sneeze, and they simply don't. It's quite frustrating. :/ Link to comment
Heavy-Chevy
I've tried to do it but I've only succeeded once, I basically flew like superman. It was a great experience! Link to comment
zneeze
I posted about this a while ago actually, but I'm glad you brought it up again, because I've still been having trouble with it but I'm also having more moments where I'm close! Lol I mean, I have moments where I realize I'm dreaming, but only for a split second and I lose it before I can do anything. When I achieve lucid dreaming, the fetish will be the first thing to come to mind Link to comment
Pokesneeze
I can usually sort of do it right when I'm waking up. Unfortunately it only lasts for a short time before I actually wake up all the way. Link to comment
