Joal 555
I went to the supermarket this morning and was served by a very pretty check out girl. As I had queued (we're good at queueing in Britain...) I had noticed her rub her nose, and then as she served me she was sniffling from time to time.I decided to take a chance....Me : You sound like you're going to sneeze.....Her : Yeah, it's in there, but it won't come out....(slight laugh)Me : well bless you for when you do sneezeHer : *laughs again*I guess I could have said more, but it was nice enough as it was. I think I might do that more often when the opportunity arises...... Link to comment

sneezefan
This is great...I too like to talk sneezing with people when the time is right. Unfortunately, too often the time isn't right, but when it is...what fun!!! Thanks for the observation. Link to comment

Demosthenes
I had almost this exact situation happen to me today. In the checkout line I noticed the cashier slowly bring her arm halfway up to her face, pausing in expectation that she would soon release a sneeze. The urge appeared to subside and she resumed ringing up the customer. Hardly a second elapsed before she stopped again, brought her arm to her face and let her eyes stare off into space. Clearly a sneeze was teasing her. But she only held this pose for a second before once again resigning herself to having lost the sneeze and resuming her work. I thought about making the same remark. "Bless you... when you do sneeze." But it seemed a little inappropriate to interject since she was serving another customer. It struck me that she didn't seem to be at all she about sneezing in front of people. Raising her arm was no doubt simply to avoid getting sneeze spray on anybody. I suppose in that kind of job where you never really get any kind of privacy, you probably grow accustomed to sneezing in front of people. And you may even get in the habit of making the customer wait a bit while you coax a sneeze out. Link to comment
3-26
I avoid it to the best of my ability, but sometimes it is unavoidable! And then I really struggle with it and sort of obsess over whether or not I was accidentally weird. Link to comment
KurtVonC
I've only done this once and it was absolutely exhilarating. I had a dream about trying to make a cute co-worker sneeze, so I took the chance and told her I had a crazy work dream then told her what happened. She thought it was the funniest thing and said "well if I ever need to sneeze I'll make sure to come see you!" Boy was my heart beating a mile a minute. Link to comment

TwinklingStars053
You're really brave for doing that! Good job!! I would have been blushing the entire time. Probably studdering too because I'm just that awkward with people. Edited December 19, 2016 by TwinklingStars053 Link to comment
